Welcome. You live just down the hill from us. We are in Pleasant Valley. I guess we will meet for the first time miles from our homes. If you want to 'convoy' together let us know. We are going down on Tues and returning on Mon. That is not scratched in aluminum but we 'may' travel up the coast after the rally.

Generally, I'd say, after the Bloody Mary's make an appearance, but I'm pretty flexible!

Welcome Dave and Penny. Be prepared for a delightful weekend with fellow streamers. Since your avatar indicates you having two trailers, which one are you bringing?
Jeff

Hi Jeff, We are bringing the 23' Safari because the 31' has made the trip down to the sandblasted frame and is about half way back to becoming a trailer with walls and everthing. Hope to have it on the road this summer. Dave & Penny

I was under impression, that morning lists only closing time if you know what I mean?

Having lot of things going on, I was hoping for last minute reservation, but looking at the campground map you guys already took all the sites with full hookups. I don't need hookups for my motorhome, but using Airstream is no longer an option. What if another 20 members will decide to join the rally in next 10 weeks?

oh thats right, i forgot. you are waiting till the last minute. you will not be denied a site no matter how late. casini has so many sites that they have lost and forgotten some of them. i discovered some old ones on a exploratory walk in the back woods. so if you don't need hookups then don't even bother with a reservation. even some of the riverfront ones should be open. but when you know you are coming, i'll add you to the list so we all know you will be there even if you don't have a reservation.

Calm down Neil! This is way to soon to start dinner plans!...although Mexican Lasagna does sounds delightful. How about we divide it into..."I'll bring dessert", or "I'll bring a salad", etc. that way our artistic experimentations can have a wide berth, so-to-speak? I'll bring the Tanqueray! Think of the possibilities.

Right now, it all seems so far away. But I know that as soon as the taxes are done (wish-wish), we'll all be anxious to begin the Grand Bat Ball (sorry to all of you aviary afficionados!) and get down and plan the Sat night celebrations.

The thing is, that these rally's keep getting better and better! We keep adding new AS's (sorry that doesn't look good!) to the frivolity! So, let the festivities begin!

75 days and counting...

[QUOTE=Luminati]Calm down Neil! This is way to soon to start dinner plans!...

Your right. I was catching up on the Casini talk and dinner was being made. With the smells of dinner coming along I just couldn't stop my fingers from typing the question.

Hey Big Dee will you take the question marks off of our names? We'll be there, photo album in hand, for the day.

Sequoiacoast, Amelia's looking forward to her playdate!

Hey, I didn't bother to read through all of the posts, but I'd love to check this out. Is it okay to come without a trailer? It's a 45 minute drive from home, easy to get to and I'd love to check it all out. I might also bring my rat rod-ish Globie. Also, if anyone has questions about nearby resources between 101 and the coast, or other routes, you can PM me. I saw questions about gas etc... either Guernville or Jenner, a few miles north of Casini on hwy 1.

thanks, Peter

Take care

Peter

The taco cart in the parking lot at the Guernville Safeway was reviewed in Gourmet Magazine a month or two ago... perhaps worth a stop as you drive down the River road from 101.
