"Old friends and new..." Now we have some "old" friends since everyone was NEW on Friday when we arrived. Pulled in at 5 PM and by about 7 PM we felt that we had some solid friends (along with some great appetizers & wines.) My only jealousy is all of you (and my wife) who are retired, so picking another date is a problem. Arrived home Monday PM in time to go out and replace the washing machine that quit Thursday PM, start to unpack and use our Big Green Egg (the big one, Dan) for a quick dinner. The sea of aluminum was truly impressive and, as one who used to polish and engine turn aluminum at work, the work is very impressive.
I wouldn't dare single anyone out, but anyone solid enough to tow a lounge around instead of a bedroom/bathroom and living space deserves a special "thanks:" no charge for the water!
We would love to get to Jackson but the timing is a challenge: how about some winter camping?

I'm so jealous of you all at the rally, I've been following the thread during work breaks. Hope you had someone fill in my space. This job is 7 days a week, nights. I'd never seen a job that worked through Easter before. Oh well, helps to pay the bills. So depressing to see the Silver Dragon still sitting in the yard, missing his silver buddies.
Rally on, I think I'm already signed up for Jackson. We'll see what the company throws up for that weekend. BM is a must though.

ok I got the lounge back in one piece and everything still working. What a great trip! I died Cheese death Friday night but what a way to go. Yhotty's are naughty about that cowgirl stuff! Nothing like starting cocktails at 2 with friends (Karin..). We made it to the Buffet though. By 9 was ready to chill with a book and noticed as I got closer to the lounge there was a party going on!!! Learned many new things! One particular italian digestive...franco bravo ??? Fernet??? anyway Terra Yacht saved me with plenty of H20 thank you sooooo much! Paddling with Fireman Bill and Susie well not exactly...peddaling the cadillacs upstream was incredible. And great new friends. If I eat anything smoked this week I'm going to my Doctor. Cam you'll never get it outta your clothes. And Stan you always save me. Michael with "Hello". Tim and Nancy, Oranges and love! Kathy-you still celebrating? Thanks to all for the use of your bathrooms.. The Aluma lounge is always open! I know this is long but everyone is sooooooo great on these trips! Dan Thanks again for organization, to old and new friends, it was Great.

We had a great time, thanks everyone!
Sorry DG, the pictures of Venus trying to play pattycake with the gopher didn't turn out, but you get the idea.

3 of us left here at Casini on Tues. afternoon. The gale force winds blew doorgunner outta here this morning. Hope you made the Bay top and HWY 12 crossings OK good buddy! We pulled everything down that was flapping in this unbelieveable gale. Except our pop up awning. I had believed that pulling the anchors to it might be disasterous as it would have blown off before I could fold it up. Lizzy needed a walk so when she and I returned I saw Lynn and Cam wrestling our canopy to the ground. The damage had been done. It had ripped the braces and the fabric. This pop up awning had blown up and away last year too. Cam, Dan and us leave tomorrow. We leave this place to the SOBs which I'm sure are getting buffeted. The Airstreams are hardly affected by the wind. Soon as I get the Vista program on our new laptop figgered out I will post. Great pictures so far folks.
Neil.

Hello Neil,

Good to hear you guys havent been blown out to the river just yet. Sorry to hear about the canopy. Make sure Lizzy stays anchored. The winds are so strong here in Santa Rosa that our power keeps going out. Off and on for our computers.. Nice.
Hopefully this weather breaks for calm sea's. Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Vinnie

Great Time ! ! !

Was that FUN or what.
Even the wind was fun.

Here's Paul's contact info at Michael David Wineries
pmunoz@lodivineyards.com

The web site is lodivineyards.com.

It blew like stinkola all the way back today, but the Burb was up to the task. Gotta say that hwy 12 was an area where full attention and both hands on the wheel were required.

Paula and all the other pic takers- thanks.

Vinnie you need to go to the Oct 09 Jackson Rally to sign up-- FOLLOW the detailed instructions. Wippi and someone else need to choose a site also , last I posted there were 4 left, now I think it's one or two, guess I need to check that out.

Later folks see you in October.

Hello Tim,

Glad you made it back. I attempted to use the website and confirm but it firmly told me that 30 was the max and it was full. I will make reservations directly so i get a spot somewhere.. no worries. Thanks again for hosting Friday night. Cindy and I will be sure to send out a Thankyou email to the winery.

See you soon.

Vinnie

VINNIE'

Make your own plans if you want to spend 35 $ a nite instead of 25. and be far away from our group. Read the last post that I made on the Jackson 09 thread.. Where are you getting this bogus info from?? I would like to know-- I have the list

I found the problem- updated info just posted on jackson thread.

I'm enjoying a W5 Alexander Valley syrah at the moment!!
