just checked tide saturday--- high @ 1:30 pm PST. Nice !! BUT I am bringing a bucket of water and towels and a light snack. We also upgraded our paddles since last year. And LL is quite the paddler now- I gotta work to keep up with her. I guess it's the boat she's borrowing from our daughter !!! lol

For those of you who are coming up North on 101; the CalTrans work is finished, so it should be OK until you hit the the River Road exit. As per the usual traffic warning; after 3PM, the congestion is pretty heavy, esp. on Fridays.

I was hoping for an aluma-hot tub experience, but DG fixed the hot water leakage problem.

BTW-I packin' my fiddle, so if anyone out there can play three chords we can make some music.

Cheers! Karin

Wow, vlamica...that's a new one! I bet it has a great turning radius too!

I guess we're a bit off-topic from the rally thread, but wouldn't these Volvo tractors make a great towing vehicle? A bit slow though.

We've had four Volvo's and loved them all. Our daughter currently has one at college. Safe and not sexy (the car) and it could "do donuts" all day long-if one had to-ahem! One of our other beloved Volvo station wagons was rolled into a pasture by our oldest son (back in high school). He lived, thanks to that fine Swedish engineering, but narrowly escaped a very angry couple of parents.
Speaking of tractors, I hear that if it continues to rain, Doorgunner may need to use one to extricate his trailer from the Lodi mud.

Sorry folks, I got new work orders this morning, starting a new project tonight, working nights. Don't think I can ask for relief on the first week of the project.
Won't be coming.
Be sure to get someone in my spot, ok? I've already contacted Kaitlyn at Cassini.
It's been yes, no, yes, no, yes, yes, no, yes, no no about coming for weeks. This morning I knew of one hour of work, to go get ID badged up for the job--will be able to spend the rest of the week working on the Silver Dragon and hook up and come early! Went to do the photo badge and they said oh by the way, we're working tonight, start at 9.
Later, gotta get an hour of sleep yet.
And I was going to bring a playa dust pie for the dinner, too.

There will definitely be a cosmic gap where Tim and Kimber should be! We'll miss you too--we were really hoping to see you rolling in behind the wheel of that beauteous new behemoth...
You'll be duly toasted.
Take care,

Im thinking that if you dont get the drawbar just right you could be "overhitched" causing damage to your little dump trailer...

After a thorough inspection to see if you have any rivits missing you might want to change the angle.. see your not talking to yourself?

We're listening...

Now that you mention it, vlamica, I do believe I have a few missing rivets!
