Hi,

We got home in about 2 1/2 hours back to Sacramento!..there's some pix updates in the rally photos!..Thnx to everyone for the great times and great foods!!! ...looking forward to seeing you all again!

Hey everyone!

Cindy and I had a great time at our first AIR rally! It was really nice to finally meet everyone. Aw.. the food, the music and new friendships! oh yea.. and Airstreams. These are several of my favorite things! For those of you still there have a great time and for those that are now home, glad you had a safe trip.. See you next time.

Thank you everyone for being so nice to us! This was our first time and we had a super time with everyone! You all were so friendly and welcoming! We will be sure to go to more rallies to be with such great people! Please tell us how to keep informed!

We wanted to thank everyone for being so nice to us at our first AS rally. We didn't get to meet everyone this first round but I'm sure we'll be attending rallies in the future.

We loved having Collin along on our day trip. He was quite the tour guide and directed us to the beach where we got to view the sea lions from less than 50 feet away. He and Christian seemed to the best of buddies. We should be thanking him for being so friendly and outgoing!

Christian is already looking forward to hanging out with him at Jackson!

We just got home and wanted to thank everyone for making us feel so welcome. We had a great time and enjoyed seeing old friends and making new ones.

Gemma, "Seeing old friends and making new ones..." says it all. We realized on our drive home that we're now seeing "friends" not just fellow Airstreamers at these rallies.
Isn't it great?
In the meantime: We really had that bittersweet departure thing going on as we drove away...but that just went right out the window as soon as we hit the coast. What a spectacular day! It was an easy and scenic drive with the wild ocean on one side and open grazing land (very green and dusted with mustard and lupin) on the other. What a way to end a terrific weekend. The Golden Gate did its usual magic with the bay full of sailboats, and the feeling of contentment almost got us through the Easter traffic on 19 (OMG. Next time we're following your lead, Jeff) But after that it was smooth sailing home to more great memories,

What a great time we had with every one. I don't think it can be said enough, what a great group of fellow Airstreamers we have here. This was our third time and it keeps getting better. My folks also wanted to thank every one for the hospitality you showed them. We can only wish the rest of our and your trips can be this much fun. Happy trails.

A special thnx to BigDee for organizing the rally, to Doorgunner and Linda Lu for the awesome Reception, to Luminati for her fantastic musical talents, to janetb and her hubby for sharing their fire and 'precious' firewood with us after the potluck, when it started to cool down quickly!..I also want to thank the members and guests who sang songs..and a special note of thnx to vlamica who shared his vocal talents!!

Doorgunner, Neil, Lynn, Paul, Dee, Cam and I are still holding out. The campground has cleared out. The drive down to Bodega today was spectacularly beautiful with the dairy cows and green hills on one side and the pacific ocean breaking upon the coastline in big splashes on the other. I forget how beautiful the Sonoma coast is every time until I see it again and it takes my breath away.

Anyway, oysters, crab, and salmon on the grill tonight and bubbly in the glass. We rally on...
