Actually we have the Prius and a Civic hybrid! This is the only way to justify the F250!

More Bay Area treehuggers: Not so many trees left in the East Bay, which is one reason we are looking forward to hugging the trees at Casini: our toad is the original hybrid, a Honda Insight, so it helps average out the 8.1 liters in the rv.

Another note: in my house we are just barely capable of figuring out what will be made for dinner the day before; usually its the same day, so you folks who already know what you are making for an APRIL meal are very impressive.

Since we have only had an rv for about 10 months we will have to do some test cooking in the micro/convection to see what works best, then post some proposals.

BTW: any other coaches, Class A or other? Or are we the only non-silver 'Stream?

So another example of changing the meaning of "a pot luck." Growing up when invited to an 'impromtu" pot luck you pulled from what you had on hand plus searching the refer for decent left overs to take. However, you very welcome newcomers be prepared for the 'changes' that WILL be made to the promised menu entrees. We usually wait until we see what is being offered. AND ALSO we that stay a few days beyond the rally dates expect sufficient leftovers. In recent rallys there have been very few left overs....testament too the very fine dishes that were presented on pot luck night.
Neil.

Mr. FreshAir a.k.a. Neil- Last year you took this fantastic photo (see below) of a NorCal Rally typical food offering. Instead of tofu, maybe we should sculpt some SPAM foods? SPAMon-Salmon anyone? ~Karin

Ahhh, Karin, you do have a vast resevoir of trivia in your head. Did you SAVE that! But we shouldn't laugh too hard. A very recent news item chronicaling the present economic problems reported that Hormel has had increased demand for it's SPAM. Hopefully my 'finacial advisor' has some of our money there. Hmmm, I think I should check the pantry in the trailor.

1- Val, I've ridden shotgun at Casini before, in a squad car !

2- Gemma, I liken chardonaynay to merlot.

3- Two Hip Dawg, Did Willy's have a 1846 model when you were learning how to drive? Buckboard maybe? Williebuck?
