Thanks Ron and Debbie. Thats a generous offer but we don't want to horrify Milo and Lucy.

Seriously, are you guys gonna make it? We have a lot to talk about, with the new unit, plans for the Balloon Festival, etc.

Because of all we have to talk about we want to come to Casini. If we can get a space we'll be there for sure.

C'mon guys! Ya gotta come. I'm sure there's a space there somewhere even if you aren't right next to the silver cluster. You'll be hanging around with us at the ball anyway.

We're calling for reservations tomorrow.

Anybody from SoCal wanna Caravan? We'll either leave Thurs night and boondock along the way or leave Fri. morn and go straight through.

Just got back from our maiden voyage

Can't wait for the Casini ranch rally. We just got back from our first trip ever in our new airstream. It was truely a wonderful experience. Our plan was to boondock at squaw valley for the Ski Tour music fest. We decided to play it safe the first time out and stayed at coachland in Truckee instead. Not a bad place but not the greatest, its pricey and mostly full time residents only about 25 spaces not occupied by single wides. The concerts were great - The Wailers stole the show IMO. After that we went out Boca lake and enjoyed the sun, snow and BBQ. I pulled our coach up the hill without problems with my 10 year old 4L V6 ford ranger (was a bit nervous going in). It was a bit sluggish on the steep hills but we never really fell below 50mph.
Overall a great first trip - looking forward to Casini.

We loved it when we lived in Washoe Valley (1978 to 1986) when our kids were growing up. Traveling on camping trips from there was such a pleasure for one because we were going against the California travel traffic and 2 we beat the Californians to the best camping spots!

Made the call. Got a spot and someone wanted to trade their spot for mine so we did that and now we are set. See you there.

Us too

Finally called Casini and got a spot for the Red Tent. Spot #99 over 'cross the road from you guys. Red absorbs polished aluminum glare I heard. I'm going to make a second attempt at nametags just for fun, but you've learned not to hold me to it from LSA. Participation is optional.

I'm bringing my bike and my GPS for geocaching; who's in? I think John McG and I are going to see how many Korbel shots it takes to start pronouncing it "Krobel". Am I right John? Well...if not...I'm at least taking one field trip there.

By the way I'm useless before 10 am and pre-coffee. Just so you know.
