I added one more dog. Have we left out any pets?
Is this the final final officious list???
Can't wait to meet you all...especially the cats!

#130.......Luminati (Fri) - Karin and Mark (and the mighty Quinn). We'll bring our dog Quinn (...guess she got lost in this epic rally thread!). Fortunatly, she's a DAWG and she was not at all slighted by the oversight.
Potluck offering: either Chinese chicken salad for 50 or slow-cooked chuck-roast Chili for 60.
Since we live less than a stone's throw from Casini Ranch, I will advise you on the weather:
Forecasted glorious warm days (mid 70's), however, the evenings can be chilly and sometimes foggy, so plan accordingly...that is, start drinking early to bring those body temps up (or wear a warm jacket).
Okay, Quinn would like to issue some press photos: Quinn relaxing at Lake San Antonio and in our Petaluma backyard.

We're in as well
We're coming as well. Space 65A. Tony and Gale and dogs "Q" and "M". It'll be the first rally for all four of us.
For the potluck we'll be bringing a mediterranean type chicken dish.
(By the way, for some reason I could no longer log in as KRAMYNOT2000 so I had to create another account under KRAMYNOT)

If Ed can't find his, TT will share hers...
How about white gloves and pumps for the ladies at potluck just like in the Wally Caravan documentaries...

Bong: I don't need no stinking bong!
When I was 19 years old I had a lotta fun messing around with fully automatic weapons! and the smell of jet fuel in the early morning.
One rally one thread; that bong , it make you stupid in da head.

Wow
Kevbo,
Will that recipe work with polka-dotted duckling as a substitute? It is all I can find at Albertsons.

I actually saw Wally's bong. It was inside his gold trailer. It's aluminum and riveted. I believe thats the type Kevbo has only his is Walbernized.

Yikes! A moment of panic
Yesterday I was out getting the Airstream ready for the rally; cleaning, organizing, etc. All of a sudden there was a loud bang and a puff of smoke coming out of the power converter/charger. The lights dimmed and there was a big drop in power. I shut everything down and disconnected the power, thinking it wise to avoid any further damage, smoke, flames, etc. I had noticed that the Parallax 7300 hundred unit sometimes smelled hot and it seemed like the cooling fan was running a lot.
So last night I settled into a slightly depressed mood, fussing about why something major would break just before the rally, and about being forced to deal with something clearly out of my experience and knowledge. I couldn't even see how I could get the Airstream in someplace for service before my planned departure on Thursday to Casini.
Well, the blues dissipated a little with the dawn. I got out my trusty screwdriver, only to find that I needed to go to the hardware store to get a different screwdriver (something called torx). In no time I had removed the offending piece of the charger. It was the part with the smoke residue.
Then I had to track down a replacement part. It wasn't looking good. Either the parts departments were closed, or it was going to take two weeks to get the part. Finally, online I found a place with the best price, the part in stock, and next day shipping.
The new part comes on Tuesday.Barring any unforeseen difficulties, I should have it all put back together and powered up by Thursday. If I don't, I'm coming anyway. I'll just be the guy sitting around in the dark.

I feel the panic
All this rain is making things difficult for me. My Excella , at the vinyard. needs to have a few days of dry weather to solidify the dirt. Last month I tried to move her to get tires and as soom as I hooked up and touched the gas, the burb immediately sunk to the pumpkin. It sat that way for 4 days. So tomorrow I'm setting a few 2X12's for support, always something. once I get onto the service road to the vinyard I'll be fine, just wondering how much mud I'll be throwing at the AS. I need a few parts also I'm gonna have them sent to Casini so I will still be on the road wednesday am. after today I'm down a bottle! Keep on smilin. DG maybe I should just hook up to my small AS instead.

That's the spirit!!
I had a similar- situation- of panic... I nearly took my head off with the polisher... seems, my hair was a bit too free on this day.. and whamo- smacked in the head. T'was a close call, believe you me- Luckily I still have hair- albeit a tad shorter on the side with the lump.

Last minute jinxes
Well Sequoiacoast and Condoluminum and Doorgunner were being hampered by jinxes. Me too. Friday was the day I was going to check the car/tailer hookups, WDH, safety chains, lights. The night before I put several gallons of water in the tanks. I did not want to fill them because we will have full hook up at Casini so why haul all that water around. Anyway Friday morn was a sunny one but a pending storm convinced me that this was the perfect time to check the towing stuff. First I thought with water in the tanks I would run the water pump. Well I got that unmistakeable sound of a pump sucking air. So I went outside to check the water fill to see if I had put enough in. There was water running onto the ground on the curb front corner. I cranked the trailer up some to get a better view of the leaking water source. When I looked up under there was also water running from the rear of the trailer. A LOT! AW, JEEZ, now what. To shorten this story the supply hose from the curb tank to the copper pipe that runs along the wall/floor to the street side tank (did Airstream design this?) had slipped off the copper pipe and the water leaking out pooled under the tank until I raised the trailer front then it ran through the trailer and out the back. I was going to mop the floors anyway. The fix was more complicated than necessary and I did not do the car/trailer check-out. It has poured rain for 2 days so Monday is hopefully the next opportunity.
Neil and Lynn.
