Waiting up for WonderBoy to crawl back from the "refreshment" stand. Sons are Gods retribution to Dads. You'd think at his age I'd stop worrying.

Str8stream, Would you mind callind that park to see if we can grab a block of spaces? If we can I suggest we throw us a Rally.

Let's make it July, August is way too far away!! Maybe the second week of July so we don't hit a "holiday" upcharge?

And shouldn't we start a new thread?

Lynn and I have reservations at Wright's Lake for the weekend after THE 4TH and Labor Day weekend. Wright's Lake sits at 7000' on the west slope of Mt Talac. The east slope is Lake Tahoe. Wright's Lake is a beautiful one wth no motor boats allowed. Great for canoes and kayaks, fishing and swiming. The El Dorado Forest campground is also the trailhead for the Desolation Wilderness a favorite for backpackers. Wrights Lake is accessible from Highway 50 east of Kyburz. However, drawbacks include, no hookups, an 8 mile paved winding road. We have friends who pull their 30' SOB 5ver there regularly. The biggest draw back is it is full during the summers on weekends. We recommend this outstanding boondock location to all our Streamer friends. But don't tell anyone else. Lynn and I began taking our kids up there since 1987 and so have many others. Our grandsons (and their parents) will join us for the first time this year. Wrights Lake can be located on ReserveAmerica.
