Fix up a batch and pour it into 3 oz. dixie bathroom cups and spread it around!
could be fun

GREAT idea....we always pack a blender, even when we have no electricity to run it!

Should there be a power outage at JRRV during 'blending hour'.....hand the blender to Paul with instructions to run with it around the Airstream 2...maybe 3 times.

Time to turn to "drainpipe" repair now that kayak racing season is over for the year.
I began the dreaded black tank drop today in order to repair the leaking dump valve. I sure am glad the tank was empty. I mean dry empty.I discovered that when you unbolt the outer protective steel housing the tank comes down with it. or almost if you didn't take off the big flange or the vent tube. This was somewhat of a surprise to me, good thing LindaLu was within screaming distance as I was pinned under the tank till she arrived with a jack and some blocks.I got out and then removed the toilet, discovered the faulty valve in it and thought I'ld replace the rubber parts of the toilet. Guess what, I can buy a new toilet for what the parts cost. funny huh.I'll get back to that job tomorrow am when it's cooler. I changed out some bulbs for some led blocks, we'll see how much light they produce tonight in the dark.
And I was able to unscrew the flange without too much profanity.

Hi, this is what I'm talking about.

If enough people are interested, I will ask her. [Maria] If not, it didn't hurt to ask.
This hat is dark blue, but looks black in the picture.

Updated Black Tank project
Here's where I'm at now.
I decided to clamp the black tank up to the floor after I had unscrewed the toilet flange. I figured the empty tank weighed less than 30 lbs. so the clamps and the vent pipe shpild be able to support the tank. I dropped the outer protective/support shroud and the tanks stayed in place. That was pretty easy. So now I've identified the valves and ordered parts.
The warm white led's were to Linda Lu's liking. Just waiting for the UPS guy.

It's really not that difficult
Here is the detail of how the valves look disassembled. There was a substance that had collected in the slide groove causing a fault. leak.
I discovered the seals all were getting hard so it was going to be about time to change them anyway.
Everything is clean and waiting for the seal kits next week.I've decided to change the outlet fitting to a Valterra.just need a small length of 3" abs and some glue.

"Neil & Bob"
JIm & I are very sad about having to miss Jackson!!! As most of you know I am on the Transplant List waiting at Sutter CPMC for a liver. In June thet found a very small Tumor on my Liver. Thay just did surgery to kill it (no cemo was used) on Aug. 26. After 4 days in the Hospital I came home. They said it would take 4 to 6 weeks to heal. After they check out my other organs and it has Not Spread, I will be moved to the top of the waiting List, WISH ME LUCK!!!!
Can not go to Rally because I can lift more then 5 lbs.("That is Impossible for a woman at a Rally")... lol....
"YES BOB", I still would still like 1 hat!!! Let us know how much plus shipping and we send you a CHECK TO COVER IT ALL!!
Send us an adress to send it to!!!
