That twenty bucks would have bought a lot of SPAM.

Hi Y'all,
We are also looking forward to seeing everyone!! Of course our baby isn't ready yet so I'm glad that we have some more time!! Right now, we are overwhelmed with decisions. But we will get things to a point where we can bring her up.

Some have brought their Airstreams even if they slept on the floor.....y'know like an aluminum tent. Our first 2 rallies were attended without a working bathroom. Advantage to us was the many helpful suggestions from our new Airstream friends. If your Safari has good tires, lights and brakes, come.

yup Neil we will be there!

Neil, we will be there even if it is with an aluminum tent!! lol We have a new grey water tank and a new black water tank-of course they aren't hooked up yet. We have a bed but no mattress, a fridge and a stove, which also are not hooked up yet. We have a dinette seating but no cushions and no table. We have a new axle but not new tires. We have counters but no countertops. Oh and no sinks, nor a toilet. Mark has been doing most of the work. I get to do the running around and the most boring part, the research. Speaking of which, we did think of a name for her, I'm thinking of naming her "TheHoneyDo" . What do you all think ??

We are very excited to see everyone again!!

....Hope the name doesn't come out, "TheHoneyDOO! As for the rally...your 'tent' is only necessary for sleep as outdoor socializing is the priority activity.

speaking of honeydew. the black tank valve on my drainpipe is leaking!! Looks like I need to drop the outer steel protective tank housing to get at the valve in order to replace the seals.
appears to me to be a yob for a tiny person while lying on their back looking up toward the black tank. I just wonder -what possibly could go wrong while performing this task?
maybe I'll use a fan to make things more interesting

Years ago I had a news article about a guy who was found dressed in plastic inside (under) the women 's latrine. This dude would probably pay YOU to do this work.

so

is anyone awake out there???

Linda Lu is hinting around that we need to have a "Blend-off" event on saturday.
bring your blender with your favorite adult beverage concoction to the "Blend-off"
Fix up a batch and pour it into 3 oz. dixie bathroom cups and spread it around!
could be fun

A 3oz cup sounds inefficient. I'll bring a stack of 16oz red solo cups.

16 oz.red solo cups? thats what the college kids use when they get $hitfaced. Why bother with those, just drink right from the blender.
I was trying to promote responsible consumption of adult beverages not a slosh fest. And the sharing of unique concoctions with others looking to expand their on-site enjoyment.
I'm on good terms with the management team @ JRRV, I'ld like to keep it that way.

Now that sounds like fun!! so even if it's only five blenders, probably full of high octane beverage, that's 5x3=15oz... yeah, I'll have to take the shuttle back to our site!!! But that's just me, I'm a light weight... haha
