After a full day of visiting with our airstream friends and another amazing potluck we then decided to skip out on the clubhouse jacuzzi and headed over to the casino for some late evening entertainment. Well, after many hours of Albert and I playing we didn't do as well as we did two years ago, however we both walked out with some of the houses $$$.
It's rare to take out the Safari for the weekend and be heading home with more money in our pocket than we left with. This rally has made that possible. We may be dragging a** a bit tomorrow after such a busy day and late night to be able to make the eleven o'clock check out. If not for that thing called "work"we would love to stay longer.
Thanks Jeff for all of your hard work you put in to have successfully organized another great rally.
A big "Thank You" to everyone that attended this years 2013 Jackson rally. Jeff, you out did yourself...
Cindy and I had a great time hanging with all our Airstream peeps and meeting new friends. Its a big honor to see my shirts out and about.. Thanks again.
Bob, love my new airstream hat
We followed Tinlulu home part of the way and tucked the airstream back into its shelter.
See you at Casini... yup we will be there afterall.
Cheers.. Vinnie

Hi, this morning at about 10:00 AM we left all of our friends at Jackson Rancheria. We made it to "Seven Feathers RV Resort" at "O" Dark 30. Tomorrow we will be in Salem, Oregon. We had a great time with so many Airstreamers. Thank You Jeff for all that you do for us.

Hi, we made to Jackson Rancheria a few hours later than expected; We had a, somewhat, unexpected tire problem. One of my older tires showed signs of separation, [I noticed at a rest stop] so I replaced my two oldest tires. I have two new Carlisles. Out of the three tire stores in town only one had trailer tires. When you need tires, you buy what's available. We arrived early enough to meet with many of our friends. Boo-Boo was excited too, with all of these people here. [and a few friendly dogs] It's been a long day, leaving Lakewood at around 5:00 this morning.
Hi, this is one of several ways a tire looks when separation begins.

It was good to see more families join us I like to see the little ones running around and enjoying themselves. After the potluck there were a couple three 'fires' to gather around. Doorgunner's large 'pit' can warm many. Sunday the bocce 'tournament' continues to grow in popularity.
We will look forward to seeing and 'Greeting' many of you again. This was fun. Hopefully the weather 'gods' will be with us again there.
Neil

We made it home safe and sound.
Jeff-thank you so much for everything-you are amazing-please sign us up for next year.
Neil and Lynn-thank you for the amazing welcome-we loved the bread!!
Vinnie-thank you for the go through-I feel a lot safer now!
Thank you to everyone for letting our kids and grandson join the potluck-we greatly appreciated that since we didn't even know that they were coming!
This was our first time "camping" with a comfy bed and a TV!! It was amazing!!!
Suzzee-I love your and Allan's new baby! It is amazing. I am very interested in your window coverings and I was told that someone else at the rally ordered some identical ones from a marine supplier. Do you by chance know who that was and where she ordered it from ?
An easy cruise downhill to get home Sunday, and 10.001 mpg, versus only 8.9 driving uphill to Jackson.. Thanks to Neil and Lynne for their greetings and goodies, and Jeff for fronting and negotiating our stay at Jackson Rancheria.. Picked wrong weekend to forget a bathing suit, as Jacuzzi looked very comfortable.. The fresh-brewed Peet's coffee at the new trailer/café was also a nice touch. After all of the promo's and credits and coupons, I walked away from the Casino $5 richer than I started Thursday, but felt I helped justify the Tribe's investment in a spectacular RV facility.. We miss the Breakfast Buffet, and hope it will be back next year when we return...
Here are a few more photo's of they Happy Hour Friday, and some of the trailers that added character to the event..

This is site that we purchased the Oceanair Shades. Their prices were almost 50% less than ordering through the Airstream dealer. They can also make custom sizes. We should receive them tomorrow. It took about three weeks since we had to custom order one of the shades.
The Bunny & I had a wonderful day on Friday in Jackson Ca, we had lunch at the Rosebud Cafe & then a bloody Mary at The Fargo...the original name of the Fargo Bar was the "Pioneer Rex" from the 1860's. They had to change the name of the business because they moved into the Fargo building, after having a fire in the old location three buildings up.

Thanks - was great to see you guys again too!! Did you mean the curtains in our new trailer or the Sovereign 21? The new ones are stock and came with the trailer - I don't recommend that fabric - it snags on the Velcro closures. The pleated ones in our smaller trailer were made by Silver Threads from fabric I got at Britex.
