See you Thursday.
Hi, we are almost ready to head North. My trailer has been washed, my Lincoln has been washed, and Boo-Boo got a bath today too. All of the tires have been inflated to towing specs and all of the lug nuts have been checked for torque. Refrigerator is almost full, water tank is full, and gas tank is full. Bathroom door has been re-secured due to coming loose. I don't think that Airstream did a good job on installing the bathroom door hinge board, but I guess they would say that it stayed on for nine years.

We are packing our silver girl and itching to get on the road to JRRV. we will be departing on Thursday evening when Becky gets home from work around 6:00-7:00 in the rather thick traffic on the 405 & 5 freeways. See how far we get by 11:00-11:30 then pull over and camp in the nearest Walmart. We hope to get to the campground by mid/late morning, or early afternoon. Can't wait to see everyone!

Gee, we will really miss you guys, please remember to drink a toast to all: we will do the same. Current plans are some Zaya rum and Sattui madeira, might have some virtual pot luck too.

We gutted and rebuilt our bathroom from scratch. Find us at Jackson - we'll be in space #21, flying a blue flag with a pink flamingo in a top hat holding a martini glass. We'd be happy to show you what we've done and talk over possibilities. There are some pictures in our blog; there's a link in my sig line.

Good morning....awoke at 7am...late for me but feeling good. A peek out the window showed a thin overcast. 30% chance of a shower or 2 is forecast.......then clear skies for the week. 4 weeks ago today I woke to a chilly morning (31*) outside and Lynn quite ill with back 'rib cage and chest pain. She had been vomiting most of the night and I was unaware of this. that day ended with leaving the trailer at Wright's and finally leaving Kaiser Roseville at midnight. A battery of tests revealed nothing (Doctors were thinking heart attack). The next day after being assured that Lynn would be ok at home I went up, packed the trailer...no quick task as we had entertained kids, grand kids and great grand child, So....looking good for this trip. Today we're looking to greet Pink, Margo n Jane, Dee n Paul, and Tim n Linda Lu. I see that it's 'reported that Doorgunner is already here.......don't see 'em......maybe Homeland Security has him corralled somewhere 'again'.

Lynn and I 'Greeted' Doorgunner, Warbler5 and T-Square today. We were expecting Pink and Patrick but late word is that they will arrive tomorrow. Their 'spot' is vacant so they can slip right into it upon check in. Here are a few photos. All are happy except Bailey....he's disappointed that Lacy will not be making this trip. 17 of you are expected tomorrow....18 with Pink and Lynn will try to give you each a warm welcome. Weather today was better than forecasted. Some sun...some clouds....some wind but not rain. The forecast now is for improving weather.
Now Lynn and I are heading to Doorgunners FIREPIT .......
