I'm sure glad we're going campin'-I get some good groceries then or whenever we have company.

BTW, Chuck, my cask of a nice '59 french Merlot was delivered yesterday-Flamingo contest is lookin' up. I think with a cask I can bribe Blanco County.

dinner list

Mary, please change my Saturday contribution to BBQ brisket sandwiches so my poor husband "gets some good groceries." Also, Mary, can we bring an appetizer for Friday night?

OMG this is going to be so much fun!!! I'm also bringing an appetizer for Friday night. Skye, I'm so excited you are doing veggie chili. Are you guys vegetarians????? I'm bringing brownies for Friday night and my husband is bringing his famous "wok" that he'll be cooking up some kind of stir fry in for Saturday night. SCARY!!! Looking forward to meeting all of you as we are newbies and this is our first rally. Wa Hoo!!!

Nope, we are not vegetarians, I just try to eat a whole lot of veggies and less meat, although I do not think I can ever give up meat entirely....if I could learn to give up sweets, especially chocolate.
We are still pretty new as well and this will be our second "non-rally" rally....if it is as much fun as Johnson City - it won't be long before you will also be eagerly anticipating the next one!

Unfortunately, we won't be able to attend this year. I just called and cancelled our reservation for Blanco SP. I know we'll be missing out on another great time! Hopefully we shall see yawl at the next one.

It's a miracle!

I checked into the parks and wildlife reservation site this morning and lo and behold they had one campsite available. I hope to be seeing you all next Friday. That will be me, Kat and the pack. I would've been there last year but the "Screwup Fairy" visited me. I was going over the MH getting ready for an inspection and darned if I didn't have a missing brake shoe, just like 87MH. And as all things on a motorhome once I started working it got more complicated and I couldn't make it to the rally. Of course that didn't really matter that much, I reserved for the wrong weekend anyway. I was holding off this year until I made sure that Tellie was ready to travel and didn't realize how hard a reservation was to get on the correct weekend.

Quick question? When is the trailer judging be taking place, day or night? Seems silly, but.....now that I know Bruce is bringing a winery to bribe judges, every aspect becomes important!
Thanks

After the judges drink all that wine, they won't know or care if it is day or night!

I think I am going to just hang out with the judges and forget about decorating, they are going to be drinking all that good wine and that sounds like a whole lot more fun! No, wait... maybe I will drink a whole lot of wine and then decorate....that could be interesting!
