Chris,

We will be there if at all possible! We will gladly pay for a spot! If there is lots of snow we may have trouble getting over the pass... but rain won't deter us. We had snow on the way home last year, towing in the snow wasn't so bad, it was the cinders and stuff on the road we didn't like hitting the Bambi. But, we didn't get her to just look at her in the yard! The Yurt was good last time... so unless something unexpected comes up count us in!

Wow...you guys are hardy...

February? I will need to do some fancy talking with the hubby to get there in February. You guys are so very hardy. Even though I have Minnesota genes I shiver at the thought.

But it is so close and you are all SUCH FUN that it would be a shame to miss it. We're still basking in the glow of Beverly Beach last fall.

Chris, Are you still planning the rally? I'll make clam chowder for Friday nite. We are sitting in the rain here at home and you never know what the weather will be . Yesterday was beautiful here, blue sky, walked the dogs on the beach. Today a souwester, get your rain gear out. Teresa

Butch and Beth emailed me asking if it was on and I sent them the link. So I know they were interested. I think Darol was too if I don't sell the Caravel before then - leaving him nothing to camp in I'll email them both and see if they want to commit.

Hello, I'm happy to see all of you willing to camp no matter what the weather is doing. We love our little mame. She's been sitting and waiting for us to take her out.

I need some info from you. Can we join your group. We might have one more airstream my brother has a 1967 globe trotter. We camp together a lot. Please let us know if we'd be welcome or if this is a closed group.

Thanks Ruth

Hi Ruth, welcome to the forum!

The rallys are open to anyone. Just show up and have a good time

In this case of course, just let us know if you're coming so Chris can reserve the right number of spots.

Rally

I will contact my brother and see if he's interested in joining us.
I have a question about the airstream list. How can I post photos.

Click on this link and it will take you to the 'How To' section. There are threads there describing how to add photos to posts, or set up your own photo album. If you don't find what you need, feel free to let me know and I can try and help you out.

Those are the dates. If you want more time there I am sure they would let you extend your stay. I personally will be there from Friday to Monday.

I am getting sites today. They are all single sites. Power and water but no sewer. There is a dump station at the park.

Da Wagonmaster is in Da House

I have reserved G - 16 thru G - 26. I have G - 23. I am staying Sunday night as well.

I have the yurt meeting hall for Saturday - all day. I think this will be a good spot for the Saturday dinner !

The sites are reserved for Friday night and Saturday night. If you wish to stay longer or arrive early, that will be up to you to make those arrangements. If all the sites are spoken for there are more available, however, it will be up to you to make a reservation for that site. I know that G - 27 is taken but other than that the loop is pretty much open.

Please see post # 1 for up to date site reservation info

Now onto the important stuff !

The food and drink.

It will be a potluck.

I am making pot-roast. I noticed that Blue Pearl said they were bringing clam chowder.

I am not too particular on what is brought. I do like to have a balance between desserts and dinner though.

Dinner time will be at 5 pm in the yurt on Saturday.

There are NO OTHER PLANNED EVENTS. I did not get a large enough group that wanted to do the fest so maybe next year.

So lets kick off the 2008 rally season in the NW with a bang !!

Hello, did you count us in and my brother Don would like to join us with his 1967 globe trotter. I hope we got in on the count. Lets us know the details ... how much we owe and who do we pay. We are pretty excited to meet new people.
Thanks,
Ruth
