I may be interested. I have a site at JSH for the season anyway, but I have to check with my wife on the dates.

Sights of Interest

Since our Forum rally is going to be a week end affair and some will have a few hours drive to do, here's a few very interesting and especially close to the campground sites to see:

- Cape May (Victorian homes and styles, light house, shopping, etc)

- Wildwood (remembering the good old days? take a walk on the board walk!)

- Audubon Sanctuary (thousands of extraordinary birds nested in a private park, reasonable admission price. Great even for just walk or relaxed hike)

- Stone Harbor (pretty shore town, very small)

- The beaches! Avalon and Wildwood are the closest but Cape May is only 15min away.

and plenty more!

NJ Rally- Sounds Like Fun!

Hi Folks!
We just bought a 2002 Classic and are excited about joining the Airstream family.
We read the postings about the gathering in NJ for 10/1-3... we'd like to make the trip down from Cape Cod for the weekend... should be able to confirm by early Sept.
We look forward to meeting you!

Thanks for the info. I just called and signed up. It seems that I'm only the second person to do so. I hope some of you other forum members are going. If we get 15 Airstreams or more it's only $15.00 a day instead of $22.00. Come on, lets get this thing together.

Hi peoples,
I am going to try to make the rally. My mandolin wants to come along.
A question for the seasonal campers......Will they allow campfires at the campground ?

We'd be happy to meet you and the mandolin!

They do have fire rings on the sites where you can have your own campfire, but the rally will be held in the field...there are no rings there...I presume you can't but I'll ask.

PS
we'll be away until September with no access to the net. Will reply to all further questions when we come back. Hope more people have joined us by then.

Hi,
It's me again. It was mentioned that the rally will be in the field.
I assume that means no hook ups? $22 a night seems a little steep
for no hook ups. Dave

a dead issue?

We're just back from 5 days in the rain soaked Adirondacks. I was so hoping there would be posts about this rally. It seemed so "civilized" after this past weekend...no interest?

Rally Roll Call

Rather than look in the whole thread lets have a simple roll call of those who have signed up with the office in NJ or are pretty sure they will. It's a long drive for us to have a field my ourselves. However we are so looking forward to going we would go anyway and just hang out with lily from philly.
We will be there sometime Thursday and be coming back Sunday or Monday.
lilpeewee is seasonal and plans to join in.
