I know it is only October, but I am getting excited about the second annual Mystic Springs Motorhome rally!
Here is the proposed schedule, per Fred.
Annual Spring Motorhome Rallys
----------------------------------------
Southeast
(more organized than our first)
April 4,5, & 6th, 2003 at Mystic Springs
April 2,3,& 4th, 2004 at Mystic Springs.
It looks like there will be a rally in Texas of Forum members in January, and there is a west coast rally that is taking form for December.
I wanted to make members that have joined since the last rally aware that there is one this spring and start the idea bubbling in their minds. So pipe up if you think you can come, all are welcome but know this.... last time we drilled, riveted, and got greasy as well as ate, drank and burned up a bunch of firewood. Fun was had by all.

Sounds like a Central, Western and Eastern rallys to me! Glad to see it. Wish I could go to all of them! Once the plans are formalized for the other rallys, let me know and I'll certainly put them up on my site!
If you recall, we organized the last one less than two months before it happened.
Just to add something, I'd like to make sure that even though this is a chance for the motorhome owners to get together, everyone is invited (trailers, those rare 5th wheels, B-Vans, and the Argosy units that cause such confusion!) . This is also a great chance to meet other Forums friends and put a face and RV to the name.
For anyone considering a classic motorhome, Mystic Springs is not exclusively Airstream (although there must be one in the caravan), you are welcome to stay with us and get all your research done in one place!
For anyone wondering about Airstream quality, one of the things I remember most about the event was touring the campground host's 1976 Airstream trailer and thinking what a great unit it was (25 years old)!
I'd like to see you all at this 2003 rally, but I'm thinking of not rejoining WBCCI and was wondering if I would still be welcomed if I wasn't a member?
Absolutely! Mystic Springs is an Airstream Park run by the local WBCCI unit but only requires an Airstream product to stay there. I have stayed there twice and will be there this weekend even though I have not joined WBCCI.
That's great news! Mystic Springs is only a days drive for me and I would be interested in any other get togethers prior to the 2003 rally. If you could let me know, I'd be greatful!

John...will you drive I-75 or Hwy. 19? We take Hwy. 19 since we live near Brooksville.
If you are coming this way, we might drive to the Mystic Springs rally together. You know...safety in numbers.
And of course, Brett has experience clearing barrels out of the way. Fred's Jellybean III made it home from the last Mystic Springs rally unscathed because of our sacrifice.
Don't worry Steve, the rally is not motorhome exclusive. The first rally (last April) was organized by MH owners, but we had so much fun that we are doing it again.
The MHs are pretty rare, so we wanted a chance to see others and compare. But we would never consider banning someone because they tow a coach with a car instead of towing a car with their coach.
I think it would be great to fill the place up with MH's AND Forums members! It will be a great time to put names and faces to Forums-ID's. We'll kill two birds with one stone!
Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on your new AS!
To answer one of your questions, Mystic Springs in very near Pensacola, FL. If that's too far to travel you might look into one of the other "forum" rallies. I think one is brewing in Colorado, and maybe another in California.
Your second question regarding joining an Airstream club may receive passionate replies. My husband and I have belonged to WBCCI for 10 years. We love the club, and many of the club members have become like family to us.
