Sorry to move things but while we have had the fortune to be that second weekend a lot, historically we have had this rally as noted on other weekends in June. A lot was based on my work schedule and that second weekend once wasn't available to me because of the schedule at the convention center. That's sort of why I've told folks to wait prior to reserving since I could never guarantee that second weekend. Quite honestly I've typically kicked off the reservations and announcement in January and we've never had an issue with the sites waiting till that timeframe and by then I'm pretty solid on my ability to pull this off.

Today, I have to deal with Patty's health and various doctors appointments. Some just can't be moved due to the fact that she is on dialysis and the dialysis center schedules appointments on a clinic basis and a visit for her means seeing 4 different sets people, dietitian, social worker, nurses, doctor. Medicare has some strict rules on reimbursement for dialysis costs and if you don't do the visits in the prescribed timeframe, they can refuse to make the payments.

So I'm not trying to upset the apple cart but this is how it works out this year for us.

We too have booked for the 2nd weekend, F2 and F9, baby in tow. How about we come up with our own social for Friday night? Brats, fish boil, wine, beers, blenders ?????? Burger bash??? Rib fest??? Shrimp on the Barbie???

It does appear the "Moraine View Rally" has become a victim of it's own success...

Looking forward to seeing everyone this summer, unless it is HOT!

Awesome! So glad we're still on! Jo Ann, Genie and I have P-20 for Thursday on through the weekend and will plan on cranking some ice cream Friday and Saturday. Don't forget the water toys, folks!
