SUGGESTION: KEEP F-9 OPEN
It would work great as the serving site as it has water and electricity.
Let us all "chip in" for Laird and Nancy.

Gina, this is one of the most fun groups of folks around. Jack's been organizing this get-together since 2003, and Laurie and I have been coming off and on since '04 along with several others who are old-timers.

If you read through the whole thread here, it'll give you an idea of how the sites are organized.

ReserveAmerica.com has the reservation system, and if you go to the Moraine View website you'll find a map of the campground. We're down by the lake in our own loop. If there aren't any spots left on the loop, there are usually lots of spots left on the next row of campsites up.

We'd be delighted to meet both of you. And this is a very accepting group... even though I've moved on from Airstream, they still let me come and play. We hope you can make it!

Any classic motor homes?

Just wondering if anyone going to this shindig wil have a classic motorhome?
Looking at the posts and the posters stats it dosent look like it
Just wondering if I'll be the only old Chevy truck warped in aluminum foil there

Do former Chevy aluminum foil truck owners count? If I wrap my Kodiak-Born Free in tinfoil, will that count? They're both Chevy's... right?

Awesome, Mike! I presume that your suggestion also includes an offer of subsidy for the maintenance on the thing?

If Airstream built a silver-bullet, rear-queen coach on a Freightliner M-2 chassis, I'd be standing in line. Until then, you're just stuck with me in my Born Free.

Here's a Dynamax on the M-2. It's not much of a stretch to envision an Airstream coach built on it...

I'm out

I've been waiting to go to this outing since I reserved sight P113 on Jan-19-16...
But I'm canceling my reservation for the sight and Amy and I won't be atending
I'm canceling because of the weather
I'm not going simply because of the weather, the forecast is calling for 94*f
I do NOT like the heat and I'm not willing to up the risk of something going wrong with my motor home... (Not to nention the motor driven AC dosent work)
I figure with the forecast calling for 94* and sunny the surface of the pavement alone will probably be somewhere in the 220 - 250*f
Now I can change one of these truck tires by myself (I've done it before) but I'm really not willing to do it in the heat with the sun beating down on me
I'm afraid the tempature is just too much for this old man and a tired old truck
Wishing all of you safe travels.

While I normally bring a flyer with me, I decided to give you all a PDF copy that you can either print yourself or if you carry a laptop or other device, you can save this and view it at your leisure. I still will bring copies but this might be a nice enhancement to what you normally get.

Here is a link to the copy. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ari3beuhxn...Flyer.pdf?dl=0

Note you may get a pop up to create a drop box account but you do not have to to view the flyer.

Jack
