Arrived at MV yesterday. We've had a t-storm already this morning and from the map looks like more on the way. At least today should be cooler than yesterdays 94 which set a new daily record. Forgot to ask about water quality but there are no warning signs up so maybe things have improved.

We'll be driving over to Moraine View this afternoon to set up. Then we'll come back into Bloomington for the night. We have some things to finish up at the house before we come back out on Friday.

Well, many of us are here already, and temps dropped 20 degrees in just over an hour yesterday. It was cool for sleeping and supposed to be a high of only 84 today.

We have been up for hours, enjoying a campfire and coffee and visiting with attendees.

Life is good.

a great rally

good company and great weather made this moraine view rally a great place to be.....

we enjoyed the friendship around the fire

we have arrived at the mississippi river, clarks ferry, iowa and are parked a mere 100 yards from the rolling water of the great river.........

Got home a little over an hour ago and unloaded the trailer. Thanks to everyone who came. Food was great and you can't complain about the weather. I think is about 65 or so when I left. I'm going to forgo washing off the bugs and get the trailer back into its inside storage. Nasty storms forecast with more hail.

It was a great time, indeed.

The weather was near-perfect, and those day-long campfires are one of my favorite things.

We really loved visiting with everyone and meeting new folks. Such fine people come to the MV Rally, don't you think?

Lily says she especially loved all the doggies. She is one pooped pup.

Travel safe.

And, Steve's new hammock was the most comfortable thing I have ever been in.

Going to have to have one.

For those that saw the 6-way/7-way connector Holder on Al's 25, I found a Source:
etrailer.com PN 118152 Tow Ready Connector Holder $5.49 Adjustable Bungee Straps on Doug & Maggie's Awning ,CIPA 5305 BlK 72 inch Shock cord w/2 hooks. Thru Amazon .
I've ordered both. The connector holder looks correct & shipped Today from etrailer,
The Bungee's look OK but wont know for sure until i rcv.
