We don't mind walking up the hill if it turns out that the park can reserve a block of sites back in the rally's original location and we'll help with table set up.

Diego, thanks for your post to let us know reservations could be made online now. For some reason I thought it was after the first of the year.

Nancy
I've been checking daily for the reservation window to open. Since we hadn't heard from "Mary" I figured we would have to end up reserving our own sites. We will definitely help with set up or whatever is needed. This will be our first rally, other than Alumapalooza, so we're not sure what set ups are needed. Just let us know what we can do to help!

We went ahead and reserved F4.

Be good for those who know they are coming to get online and get their sites, as things will surely begin to fill up in the next few months.

We'll be coming in on Thursday the 9th. Looking forward to seein' y'all again!!

I just grabbed F5. If we decide on the original row I'll take the $5 cancellation fee and move over.

Although don 't know just what I'm going to be doing next summer to be on the safe side I just reserved F7 - the site I had this year - arriving June 8 and leaving June 12. If a different area is decided on can change later.

It's Moraine View State Park, near Leroy, Illinois.

DNR

Jack Canavera has not weighed in on the activity here today--we're all just kind of moving along without him. I suspect he's out of contact for awhile and that he'll be delighted people are so anxious to reserve sites for his rally rather than miffed that we are being rather presumptuous in assuming he wants to stay with the lakeside sites.

We'd all be willing to move up the road to the other area, if need be, I'm sure, but the big issue was being able to get a block of sites. We're getting that done pretty well.

We just took F3. $5 is a small insurance policy for a good spot.

Do we have to use our camper as the projection movie screen this year? I would like to have a lakeside site this year.

I hope Jack gets back from wherever he is and makes a reservation, or we're going to have the area filled up. I wonder if we should make one for him? Anyone know where he is and when he is due back? Mods??

I'm confirmed for P18. Ok folks it's step up time. There is space in the P loop around the lake and you still have sites available in the F section which is the inner circle across from the lake. As to the pot luck and the movies, we will do them in the inner circle if we can. Remember that nothing is being held for us so you must choose the specific site and make the reservation. All reservations are made through reserveamerica.com

The cost is $20 a night with a $5 reservation fee. Note that the cost is refundable other than the reservation fee. Not a terrible penalty if you find you have to cancel. If you do, please post before you do that. That way we can coordinate with someone else wanting to come, to be online and reserve once your site pops back up available.

No. We really used you last year due to the weather threat and wanting to protect the equipment used to show the movie. Feel free to pick any site....and thanks for last year's use of your trailer.
