Well, either Rob's nemesis' daughter Lisa had better get to the State Supreme court and get Robbie out, or the legislator had best start impeachment proceedings now, cause impeachment can last several months, and plans for this rally really start in earnest in a month or two......

Have no fear folks. We will work towards an alternate site for June. Maybe we will call this rally, the Moraine View in Exile rally. We'll see. First things first though is to deal with the holidays. Then we'll get busy getting June firmed up. Thanks everyone for the updates!

My plans to attend the Morraine View rally are back on since my stop loss will be ending at the end of the month.

Happy New Year!!!

Haven't seen anyone post on this rally in awhile. Since it is the new year now, the wife and I are starting to make plans for the summer trips in the airstream.

Can someone give me/us an update? Jack?

The plan so far would be to schedule the rally for June 12th (Fri) through June 14th (Sun). If Moraine View remains closed we will try to schedule another nearby campground that is in the general area (see earlier posts). I'll probably start making my initial contacts on an alternative site next week. An alternate weekend if scheduling is a problem would be June 19th-21st.

Normally that second weekend is clear for the kids (school is now out). While not a guarantee, the weather normally has not gotten "hot" at that point.

I have events going on at the Convention Center both weekends so I'm also trying to see which of the two has the least amount of support issues. I've been lucky so far and have only had one conflict which caused me to deviate from the second weekend to the third.

Good News,

Saw on the news the other night that the new Governor is going to do everything he can to save the state parks that are on the list to be closed down(or already closed down).

I'll probably make a decision within 2 weeks. Whether the new gov will have things nailed down is up in the air. My gut tells me we will be going elsewhere but I want to wait just a little longer.

I just read that Moraine View IS to be reopened.
