Great rally!
Thanks to Steve and Amy for putting it together. Thanks to Reed and Mary for being generous campground hosts. Thanks to everyone who showed up and made the weekend so enjoyable.
I'll post some video snippets somewhere as soon as I figure out how.

TinLoaf,
As usual, a great job of documenting the rally in pictures. Would have liked to have been there, but too many competing issues/rally's. I've been enviously following the thread. Looking forward to seeing you all down the road.

Funny story....
As everyone at the rally knows, I had a promotions company make a trophy for the cook off, and some nice little memento magnets for everyone. I looked in the trailer and my truck stem to stern, but couldn't find them. After arriving home, we tore through the house, the trailer, and truck again looking for them...no luck.
A couple hours later I was making a smoked pork tenderloin for dinner, and had an epiphany...(We never checked the center counsel!!!!!!).
I calmly walked out to the truck and opened the counsel up to find a dozen of these looking back at me.
DUH!!!! That's all I can say on this one folks. I will get them to you all though. If you come to the Memorial Day rally I will give it to you then, or mail it out if not.
Lastly, my pics are uploaded. Thanks for making the site Steve M.

Loved the pictures!
I still have a smile on my face from looking at the pictures from the Rend Rally....Really!
What an awesome park! I so wish we had made it.....since our TV is a 99' although in good shape I wonder if that is a little to far for us to pull? I'm willing to try but then their is the what if's that run through our heads.
PS Love the pins that were made for the rally....really!

Tinloaf, great photos, I see the Fiesta Crock Pot surfaced again. HEE HEE
Glad you all had a great time, wish we could have been there, but that is a little far for us to drive. Hey Laird, did Steve B. give you your copy of the CD?

I wouldn't let the fact that your tow vehicle is a '99 model disuade you from enjoying your Airstream. Last summer, I towed my Minuet from Anna, IL to Bozeman, Montanna with my '75 Cadillac Eldorado (120,000 original miles) with only one problem -- a blown alternator near Arcola, IL on my first day out. Unless you are aware of a particular issue with your tow vehicle, I would push ahead and use it -- my main tow vehicle is a '99 GMC Suburban with 200,000 miles and I wouldn't hesitate to hook it to either of my coaches and head cross country (same with the Cadillac but I would avoid steep mountain grades if towing the Overlander).
Kevin
P.S.: Neither of my tow vehicles has had any major motor or transmission work -- just normal maintenance.

Steve,
Unfortunately, we're both headed to Roaring River State Park for Memorial Day. We've had the reservations, with others, for awhile so guess we're committed. If we weren't, I would be at Rend Lake. Will be following that thread and looking forward to TinLoaf's & other's pictures.

The Fiesta Dipper was actually the FIRST TO GO at this rally. It has been lovingly adopted by new owners and I don't think it will be coming back this time.
