Most all of us are still working so you will see the bulk of us come in Friday afternoon or evening. Note for those of you coming in the dark, all sites are back in (but at an angle) on your blind side. Feel free to ask for some spotting assitance in case you don't have backup lights on your trailer or motorhome or need other assistance.
And don't worry about missing any fun stuff. Every day is fun!

I don't know how I missed this post originally... but I MUST warn all of you that I fear that Mrs. Lawrence has gone right over the edge... we must all do what we can for Mr. Lawrence... the poor fellow... I just can't imagine ANYONE alluding to that horrible horrible anti-social movie... Animal House... Shudder.
Any ideas on how we should protect ourselves from this growing menace?
So... uhhh Tracy... do your "Initiation Rites" involve leather or handcuffs? Ahem...

I don't know what I was worried about, I think we're all going to have a fine time...
handcuffs and leather
sneaking alcohol
togas (with or without undergarments...that wasn't covered)
and lots of first timers. We'll fit right in.
Lookin forward to it guys!

Relief - I thought Michigan was out !
I've been neglecting the forums for a little while and when I saw Moraine View for the Mid West Rallye my heart sunk. THEN I saw the Mackinaw City rallye is still on the docket and slated for July. It's an interesting and fun area to visit. Lots to take in. If Ike and I can assist in any way, please let us know.

Suz, you and Ike won the who traveled furthest award last year. Would love to see you guys at the weekend rally but I think you were 411 miles right? Pretty far to travel for a couple of days.
I'm hoping to make the announcement regarding Mackinaw City rally shortly. I've got to nail down one more thing with the campgrounds and I'll be ready to give you all the information.
Regards,
Jack

Roger, that's like asking a group of men at a bachelor party, "Will there be beer?" .......Duh!
Live in fear, dear Roger...........[Flailing limbs and screaming madly]
Things to look forward to the Rally!
1- Togas! (Honey, does this toga go with my stilettos? And honey, why in the world are you packing your boxers? Those won't be necessary)
2- Pillow fight! (keep pumpin' them cookies! Gotta get into shape! Think the hormones might help here, too)
3- A tall cold Chocolate milk!
4- Initiating the Newbies!
Can't wait! Looks like we're going to have a fun crowd once again!

reconsidering...
Oh my! Jack... I'm beginning to reconsider here... I'm considering your advice to be very afraid...
I suppose thought, that should we fail to appear at the Rally that we'd be attacked with voodoo dolls and undoubtedly burned in effigy or something in our absence.
I shall NOT be intimidated! I shall make a stand for those true and steady virtues we all hold so dear: pillow fights, chocolate milk, Toga parties and initiations! Let the games begin!!!!
Roger
p.s. Eric... once Jack and I have been thoroughly trashed, just WHO do you think will be in her sights next???? Oooohhhhh

Mackinaw Rally
It sure looks as if this could be a great first time Rally. What with togas, tall hot chocolates, pillow fights. That is if I can get there, got my reservations in the mail and raring to go.
still learning how to back the AS, Had a lot of help from you people. Backed it for the VERY first time into its' parking spot today. Been practicing in this humongeous parking lot that belongs to a moving and storage comapny. They loaned me some cones to use and when I get in a tough spot they will come out and get me out. Great place to store the AS, covered and on concrete and fenced.
Had a slight altercation with a side walk in town and broke two fingers on right hand. Slight handicapped but still trying.

My dear Norby,
Can't have a function at the junction if I can't get there.
Have to learn to tow that AS too, along with backing. Sure hope I get a pull through at Mackinaw, would hate to have to spend the first day there trying to back in.
You have 2' on me with your AS, and that makes a big difference.....having enough trouble with my 28 footer.
But thinks for the encouragement.
Sure is hard typing with one finger on right hand.

actually..
i hope the good lord heals your hand very fast..1 foot 2 foot , actually my 30 ft is maybe 31 ft with the tongue, so not to worry...the main problem involved is trying to put it where you want to stick it...

Yep
I can stick it anywhere, but you are right. It takes talent, and luck, to get it near the hook-ups. Or in my case, staying off the durn things when I back.
I am right handed, have you ever had to brush your teeth with the wrong hand?? Near impossible!
It will be healed by July, then I can get in there and mix with the best of 'em. I hope.
