Food Food Food

I have been remiss in saying what we're bringing to serve.. mainly because I still don't know!

I KNOW I want to make a fruit salad, but we also will bring some cold meat, maybe a shrimp cocktail or deli platter

Are the drinks, cups, and plates taken care of? I'm still trying to figure out what to bring but I will bring something. I will let you know asap.

At this point most folks bring their own plates. No one has ever brought drinks I believe. But whatever is comfortable for you. Normally the ideas is bring enough to share with 4-6 people. Some bring a lot more. It's whatever you feel comfortable providing.

Pot Luck

Jack et al:

Put us down for homemade guacamole (and chips) plus my wifes brownies (no they are not mixed together) for Saturday night.

I also have the PA system packed up for movie night (maybe karaoke next year???) and some games for the kids - bozzo buckets etc.

Will also need collective wisdom on replacing our front window lost to a dirt clod in Kansas so bring your experiences!

What a great turn-out! We are now coming down Friday midday so see you soon.

As a state campground I would be thinking this would be one of the last things I would see. Have you been to public campgrounds with wifi?

Jack

When we went to Holland, Michigan last year, the state campground down the road had wifi but the private campground we stayed at didn't. The state campground was about 1/2 mile from ours and there was a forest in between. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a strong enough signal to connect with my Linksys pc card.

I just called the campsite and she told me my check has to be in by Thursday at 3pm or it's first come first serve. I'm not sure it will get there on time. Is anyone going to be there by Thursday morning and is willing to reserve A13 for us? I will be there for sure to pay you back.

I've been through this last year and at that time I tried to pay for a last minute attendee who was planning on arriving late on Friday. They would not allow me to make the reservation or pay for the site. They said that the person coming in had to register and pay. It was sort of stupid but on the other hand they don't want one person coming in, then buying first come first served sites for folks who haven't shown up yet. Can you send the check via express mail? I think its guaranteed overnight by 11 am.

You might ask them if a Thursday arrival person can make the reservation for you. I know when I asked the question, it was on Friday morning. I won't be arriving till 3 or 4 PM on Thursday.

I think I've got a Carefree awning on the GT. Judging from the condition I assume it's been on a very long time. Being on a '67 I'll call it "vintage".
Stop by and we'll compare notes.
Tom.

Did you get it into a mailbox before the regular pickup time? I can't imagine it takes more than 2 days to get from Joliet to Le Roy.
