Talking It Works

Thanks for all the support.
Believe it or not, after turning the fridge on it's sides and then upside down overnight it works! Plugged it in just sitting in the garage. 30 degrees in the freezer in 2 hours. Forum to rescue again.
I'll stuff it back in the coach and retest tonight.
Moraine View here we come.
Tom.

Can anyone report particularly Airstream-unfriendly (gravel?) road projects to avoid?

See ya there!
I think one year they seal coated the main park road. Was full of little gravel. I think I drove that last mile at 15 mph.

Looks like for those of us who cut across US 136 that runs between I-55 and I-74 will run into a road closure 1.8 miles east of I-74. I'm trying to find an altenative route without having to run north on I-55 to Bloomington and then south on I-74 to Le Roy.

That gravel at the access road gave me my first and second battle scar on the front. Small, but really annoying. Since then, I placed good mudflaps on the tow vehicles.

I seem to recall the gravel there a few years, but last year was the worst I'd seen. Thank goodness for the Enkays.

Looking at the maps for highway construction, it clearly seems to me that there will be some pain coming from the Chicago area any way to look at it.

Two seasons here. Winter and Road Construction.

I'm heading out Tuesday evening and plan to skip Chicago area altogether by going south to Dayton then west through Indianapolis.
Chicago area was slow last year.
See you all there!

Hi Jack,
We've always wanted to join your group for the rally but the timing has never worked out. Didn't think it was going to happen this year either but there was a change of plans and we have this weekend open. I called Moraine View and they had site A16 open so I sent them a check. We'll probably arrive around noon on Friday. We're looking forward to a great weekend. We'll bring fresh fruit to the pitch in.

Hey that's great I'll add you to the list! That puts us at 32 units and 1 visitor! A great turnout.

...and an Avion no less. I can't wait to see that unit on the open house. I think they look neat.

Ma says that she will make a corn casserole for the pot luck.

I will be bringing the tongue weight scale.

We plan to leave Cedar Rapids mid morning Thursday.
