You are certainly welcome to use OUR grill, which is a GREAT old vintage tripod, over the fire.

We'll be cooking something ourselves, so it will be available.

Lutefisk? Soap?

Soap? Lutefisk?

Norbie, the difference is that one will remove clearcoat and polish better than Nuvite! Then the problem becomes skunks following while towing down the road. They can run fast, oh my... Anybody know of trailer tires rated at faster than 65mph??

Folks, we are getting into the final stretch at this point so we need to wrap up a few things. First if you are going to reserve a site you need to get this done quickly. The problem is that Moraine View will cut off reservations once they feel that mail will not assure timely delivery of your deposit. Call them for further information.

Note that we do have one cancellation in A09 so let me know if you are interested. We will see how we can get that transferred over to you. Note that once reservations are cut off, its first come first served to get any non-reservable or unreserved campsite. Note there is lots of space in the non-reservable sites so if you can get there Thursday, I can pretty much assure you that you can get in. Please be sure to let me know if you are planning on doing that since I need to account for those who are coming for our give away gifts.

Be sure to look over the food coming so far and let me know what you plan to bring. I'd like to get that filled in.

For you first timers let me know if you have questions.

The tentative agenda so far is Movies and campfire at dusk on Friday night at site A07.

Trailer tours and visits and (?) from 12:00 pm-4:30 Saturday. (Some of us sleep late)

I'll need help at 5:00 PM to round up and move site picnic tables for the pot luck. If you have folding tables bring them. The location will be near A07 (dependent upon ground conditions).

Dinner will begin at 6PM. This is the eating time. Don't start cooking at 6 PM.

Attendance prizes will be drawn after dinner and before the Saturday night campfire and movies. Movies at dusk.

Sunday at 10AM-? More visiting and trailer tours. Most folks tend to be depart at noon or just after lunch. Be sure to check with the check in building if you plan to stay over on Sunday night and haven't reserved.

Note there are 2 dump stations. One is at the end of the loop near the check in area. There is another dump station close to the entrance of the park. Use which ever one you choose. Note to be sure to have your fresh water supply loaded into your holding tanks before you park. There are scattered water faucets so if you run short during your stay, we can probably tie some hoses together to fill your tank at your site. I bring a three 7 gallon plastic cans from Wal-Mart with me to top off my tank if need be.

Oh and those returning from previous years, don't forget your Forums signs and if you have lights, torches, neon, whirly gigs, flamingos, the more the better!

Jack

At what specialty store do you buy the ingredients for JRT cream soup?

I might have a donation for you if she doesn't start letting me sleep past six :-(

I'll bring wild-rice salad & lots of bottled water since I don't know how to do anything with my trailer yet except plug it in, which makes the fridge come on.

And the longest tie-out I could find at the hardware store. Are there still plans afoot to create a dog pen?

We are going to keep the Terrier Sisters under lock and key, by themselves.. they don't play well with others, (dogs) and they need to be kept away from Norbert ... see above posts.I didn't know that anyone had planned to put pups together???

ummmm ..... no pix needed, Osita & I will both stay as far away from them as possible. She, on the other hand, loves adults, children, cats, big dogs, small dogs, puppies, any other dogs, rabbits & chickens. The only thing that I cannot say about her is that she would not hurt a fly, for those she hunts down at the picture windows with relish every morning.

For anyone else with a normal, socialized dog, I will be doing my best to create a miniature dog park with those cattle-pen thingies. Contributors welcome!

That's what the girls think of your cream soup idea :-)

REALLY, that's their idea of great play.. they spend SO much time chasing each other and being jealous over their humans. They are a GREAT pair of pups.
