Hi Dave,
We have lots going on around that time. Our high school band has been invited to go to the Gahanna Festival of Lights and be in the parade, just over near Columbus. That will be a long haul for us, but we would like to come if we can. Keep us posted on details as you go. Of course, the weather may have a say in this whole thing too. LOL! Larry and I were in Columbus today and saw our first snowflakes! Ick!

It sounds like you all have a great time despite the weather. I'm sorry that we missed it, but I felt much better for staying home and resting.
And with all the build up for me bringing food I am going to have to come up with a really stupendous dish!

Well I'll have all winter to plan that I guess.

Brenda and I did not request a refund for our lot so your family member could camp on it. We even called the Evergreen to have them work with you. I'm a very interested in knowing what happened so please drop us a line.


Events leading up to last weekends outing at the Evergreen left us wondering about that higher power thing again. We pulled the plug on the weekend due to events at work, but when we tried to move our tow vehicle Saturday it died before we got two houses from home!!


Is anyone interested in getting together for a Christmas lunch or dinner? We are willing to go to any part of the state if the roads are clear.

Hi All
Glad everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. We went to Michigan on the 23rd for a family gathering. Yesterday the 27th we had dinner on the Elder-Beerman Co. who has for 40 yrs put on a Thanksgiving Dinner for free.
We had TURKEY and Dressing ,Mashed TATERS, greenbeans, and Dinner rolls and Pumpkin pie wiff CoolWhip .
Nice dinner and the price was rite. Attendance was about 3000 .
Had a nice sunny day also
Miss you all Can't wait for camping season to begin again.

Larry and I are hoping that everyone had a wonderful holiday. We also wish you a healthy and happy New Year. We are looking forward to spring camping already. We miss seeing you all. We would LOVE to get together and talk about trailering & camping. I'd forgotten how l-o-n-g a winter can be. We stopped by to see how our AS was doing recently. Couldn't tell who cried the hardest when we left - us or the AS. Looking forward to the spring!!!

Presently, we are trying to get through the worst of winter - snow and ice on the roadway and a pick-up that couldn't navigate the slippery curve - hit Becky head on. Destroyed her 20 year old Acura that she has lovingly cared for and had no intention of getting rid of for years. It's all gone now! She has a broken leg, dislocated toes and severe trauma to her upper spine, neck and sternum. Everytime she moves her arms, coughs or, heaven forbid, sneezes, her sternum is terribly painful. She expects to be in the toe to hip soft cast for six weeks - she had three more weeks to go. It isn't easy keeping her down, all day, for six weeks. I don't know what we'll do to replace her automobile. The worse part of the entire experience was waiting for the EMS squad to remove her from her car on the board, lash her onto the board and put her in the EMS truck. THEN, they cut all her clothes off - her new winter coat, winter sweater, etc.... In the big scheme of things, that was a trifle but when looking at life's trifle's, that was really a BIG thing. She's in a wheelchair and will be for another three weeks. Everything is getting better but we are still fighting the problems that go along with such an accident. Phys. therapy 2-3 times a week, etc.. We'll make it through it - just so bothersome. We both look forward to camping and putting this entire period behind us. Talk with you all soon. Happy holiday to all and may the upcoming year be filled with joyful camp-outs and miles of unhindered travels.
