Hi Donna,
We wish you could join us too. Would be way fun to see you. You will have to plan to come our direction one of these days and join in on one of our rallies. We are hoping for good weather for our Findley campout. I know that you are at about 25 degrees tonight. No driveway camping for you unless you get that little furnace going! LOL!

The Deer Creek outing scheduled for Oct 16-19 has been due to some very unforseen events. Laurel is scheduled for surgery on the 14. Glenn had his roof blown apart during the storm several weeks ago and is scheduled to have new shingles installed on the 16th. Bill and Patty will be out of town, and I will be working . Terry

Give those folks our best wishes. Sure hope Laurel does well. Sounds like a full weekend for all of those folks. Sorry to hear that work has you trapped, Terry. Roger, have you thought of towing to Findley SP ? We sure were hoping that some more of the folks around Ohio would join us. The fall leaves should be good. We are hoping for good weather. Sure seems like Fall has come too soon. It has been mighty chilly during the night hours here.

Hi all of you!
I am thinking about making a big crockpot full of chili. We can either use it on Fri. night or Sat. for the potluck. And maybe some cornbread to go with it. Where is everyone going this weekend? It sure looks like a great weather weekend! Happy camping!

Hi Lou and Larry
Well its done it, FROST in the morning and 50's daytime. Not our Idea of a comfortable campout. We will probably be winterizing this weekend. The trailer is now in STORAGE MODE with regard to the insurance. We have always had insurance when in tow mode. We now have insurance against everything full time. We did however start full coverage in STORE mode . So We will not be out on the road again till maybe april, of course I never say NEVER.To come out of storage Takes a phone call.
Hope The weather holds for ya .Sorry we have to miss the last camp-out of the yr. We have enjoyed your company this yr.
Later

Sad to see the year end. Larry and I are going to try to camp until the hard freezes this year. When the salt goes down that will end our camping in the trailer....but that still leaves the 15 passenger camping! LOL!! We are sad that you aren't going to join us at Findley. Larry says that he thinks that those who live in S. Ohio must be be a little more sensitive to the cold! LOL!! Hope to see you down the road!

Hi Larry and Lou,
Jean and I will be camping in the Niagara Falls area this weekend and will be thinking of you as we sit around the campfire.
I'm also going for a drift dive in the Niagara river on Saturday with other crazy Canadian divers.
Went in Lake Ontario last night and it was great. Visibility was about 30 feet without lights at 10:00pm.
Hope it doesn't rain.
By the way Larry the mask is great!!!

Hey Loudruffs, sure sorry to miss all the cool fun this weekend. Becky has a new show that has opened at the Center and will be busy every evening this week and weekend. I'm working Friday - heading for Huron with a "you know what" for the Huron cemetery. We did go to Michigan at the last minute last weekend. We had planned to spend three or four nights at Delaware State Park but something came up and we had to make a business trip to Novi, MI. So we hitched up and towed the AS to Camp Lord Willing near Monroe - lots of canals and ponds - neat place! We tried to get into Harbortown, the new campground just off I-75 but it was their Halloween weekend and they were filled up with children for trick or treat. We decided to stay elsewhere. Spent four nights (Thurs. - Sunday) and drove back to Ohio on Monday. Beautiful weekend with some cool nights. Because of our schedules for the remainder of Oct. we've put our baby away for the winter. So sad! I got the winterizing bill in the mail today from the folks where we store it. They'll take excellent care of it until we see her again next April. We'll stop by from time to time to unload and check things out. It's right in Lancaster, OH which is only ten miles away. But, we've finished our inaugural year with our AIrstream. We're really anxious to get ready for next summer. We spent 28 nights out and pulled it nearly 2,000 miles on eleven different trips. We feel like we had a very successful first year with it and we can't wait for another year to start. We're thinking of heading into Minnesota and Wisconsin and back through Michigan next year. Talk with you soon.........
Again, too bad we couldn't make it to Findley this weekend - would have liked to see you folks again.

Well, you folks in OH missed another good campout. We had excellent weather on Thurs. Fri. it rained and rained and we sat around the campfire in it and had fun anyway. It was a little chilly but the campfire kept us all warm...not dry! LOL Sat. was a blustery fall day, but we took part in a venison chili tasting event. Then a great potluck at the camp. As usual, Shinim made a luscious dessert that was to die for! Double brownies with peanut butter frosting and nuts. Wow! We all overloaded and had a sugar buzz that could last all weekend! They were great! My kid brother turned out with his brand new teardrop and showed us all up with making a spectacular enclosure for rain protection. Daughter, Loren, and friends came with the pop up camper and we enjoyed their company.
Wannaroam, we missed you. We missed your food too. LOL! Sorry just had to joke about that! And we were really sorry to hear that you were under the weather!! Hope you have had the weekend to recover. Colds are no fun!
Lou and Larry....anyone camping in Novemberrrrrrrrrrrr!!!??????????

Hi all, sounds like you all had a good time. So did we, we were at Evergreen this past weekend with the RV.Net group. Mexican night was Friday, Omlets on Saturday morning, soup and sandwiches Saturday night, pancakes and sausage Sunday morning. Wayyyyyyyy tooooooooo much food. We took the grandkids with us this time, they had a blast. Bob's sister and her husband camped across the road from us. Campfire around the clock as usual. Cold and wet Friday, but good time anyway. The group was allowed to take over the game room and watch the OSU/Penn State game. A good time was had by all. I think they had around 30 campers. The only bad thing was that Terry and Brenda had to cancel out because he had to work. They were supposed to be beside us, instead we had some 40-45ft motorhome sitting there instead(blocking the view). We were the only AS, all the others appeared to be SOB's or alien vessels.
