What a great weekend for these newbies to rally-ing. Thanks to all for making us feel so welcome. Thank you Dave and Rhonda for your great organizational skills and all the work you put into making it a wonderful time.

Wow!! what great food and what fun with the progressive open house.

We are looking forward to our next experience with our new friends.

Next experience? Just a thought, what is up with the fall colors and Metro Detroit this year???? Anyone up for an Upper Peninsula rally, perhaps Taquamenon Falls and a tour of the shipwreck museum or Porcupine Mountain? I know Ralph and Laura know that area well. Who wants to go to Paradise (MI) in this lifetime? Or perhaps Ohio and the Hocking Hills area for hiking the bluffs and caves. But the UP is primo, trust me. I know I missed... but I have loyalties. I'll save and ask for off if anyone else wants to see the fall colors with me.

Fall Guy 2009, what do you think? How can you have 4 seasons and skip the most magnificent autumn foliage?

I know it is early ,but would there be any interest in a Gaylord area rally of sorts with a pig roast,some craft beers at a private campground...all Airstreams (Sometime next summer)....dragnwagon and his lovely Wife did such a great job,We are inspired !!

Larry and I stayed an extra night at KC Campground and did the Dearborn sightseeing things....Greenfield Village, Ford Museum etc. So did Al and Shinim. So we are all just getting home and unhitched and unpacked.

We had a wonderful time at the Metro-Detroit! Wow! What a great bunch of campers! The food and drink was great. Campfire was lots of fun! Thanks to everyone for participating. Special thanks to our host and hostess, Rhonda and Dave. You are all so well organized. We sure appreciate all of the time and effort you folks went to make this happen. The prizes and little stuff that you did with the doggies and kiddos, etc. made it lots of fun for the whole family. Great family atmosphere! Hope we can do it again next year!
Come join us in Ohio if you get that chance.

I forgot to thank all of those who participated in the "clinics" that were held this year! We like those....Carol, you missed some great clinics on polishing, teeshirt/bandana painting, putting up a screen room, rocketry, and breaking and entering! LOL! (hope Dave hides another set of truck keys in the AS!) It was all great fun!

What a great time and everyone knows Grace and I had a good time. The mothership will try and make it again next year. Will be looking for some blue noodles in my journeys.
Enjoyed meeting all the old and new friends. As for future rallys,at my age, I don't even buy green bananas.

First, Hannah says your awesome! Second, an up North rally would be cool next year. You have so many options up there, Gaylord, canoe trip rally (down the Ausable) , Mackinac, Traverse/Suttons Bay area...its endless, or maybe it is a beginning....?

You and Larry have come to my rescue a few times now! First in Apple creek with assorted tools when I was a newbie and now as a partner in crime for a B&E. Thanks for being there to help out.
