I can't imagine where everyone is. Maybe some are still exhausted and a little broke for going to Wisconsin. Hopefully the great group we had last yr will begin to mosey in. We are already (well Kinda) at least we are all paid up so we have to come, beside we would miss it.
We had such a great time last yr.

Hey L&L,
The Rebekah/Michael game was hillarious!! Normally she is quite shy around other folks in the beginning, but Michael she took a liking to right away.
As for the rally schedule and stuff, we will be posting all that up this weekend.

I think those who went to Madison going to Dave and Rhonda's rally are all signed up for this one...

When we were in Madison we met Tom and Mary Bamborough from the Grand Rapids area, they are a great couple and have a really nice '65 GlobeTrotter. I got news yesterday that they have made their reservation for this rally. So please ya'll lets not scare them off with the initiation ritual just yet, lets wait till they get set up at the CG.
I also know that Steve is coming and will be bringing the '58 Pacer, I am working on him to give us all a polishing Demo on Saturday.
There will also be another friend of mine coming in with his SOB.
Now I want to know where is Buck and the Mother Ship?

Looks like I'll miss it again. Weren't the original dates August 14, 15, 16? Maybe not. Anyway back in February we reserved a waterfront site at Leelanau SP for 6 nights starting 7/28 so we'll be up there with bikes, kayaks, geocaching, sunscreen, too much strong coffee and a boondock attitude. Anybody in the neighborhood can swing by - just look for a 64 Globetrotter behind a "matching" silver Dodge Ram! We'll have s'mores to share. Now back to my %^#@$% water leak issues...

I think they live in Ada, so it probably was. They were parked directly in front of us in Madison, and were cool enough to put up with us all. So in my book that makes them nice folks.....tolerant anyway.

Friday:
Arrival all day and evening
arrival dinner starts around 6:00pm
DO ya'll wanna stay with weenies and beans or go Mexican this year for arrival dinner??
Also the Dragway is having an event that starts Friday evening so a trip to the track may be in order also. Welcome to Milan Dragway's Website
Campfire/happy hours
Saturday:
Kids activities 11:00am
Progressive open house 2:00 - 4:00ish
Potluck 6:30 in pavillion
Raffle following potluck
Prize gloatting and campfire till ??
Sunday:
Breakfast in pavillion 10:00am
Bring along something for the raffle (old parts, new airstream vanity plates, camping stuff, out door gear, new airstream vanity plates, or anything you have that you do not wnat anymore)
Raffle tickets will be the same as last year $1.00 ea or 6 for $5.00
More to come as it unfolds.

I sent this off to my wife at work ans this is what I got in response.
So we need to have an appetizer for the open house & something for potluck (& anything we can find for the raffle) – what about Friday dinner & Sunday breakfast – stuff to throw in for that too? Or is that simply bring your own beans/weenies/Mexican/breakfast to the pavilion & we’ll all sit down together?
A little clarification would help ease the mind of a "obssesive OVER planner" aka Erin my DW. Thanks Mike

Mike,
First of all tell your wife not to stress!! No one is allowed to get stressed in this group! When we get a decision for Friday night's dinner you can bring something for that. We try to do something easy that holds well so people can eat as they come in. Usually we sit around the campfire awaiting everyone's arrival so we can judge their backing in skills. Saturday open house you can do an appetizer, beverage, adult beverage or nothing. Anything goes! We will start a list on the potluck so we have an idea what everyone is bringing. I usually try to go off the list and fill in any "holes'. With this group that is usually not a problem. Sunday breakfast is something I like to do since everyone needs to get packed up for home and since I am in no hurry it's no sweat off my back. So just show up and enjoy!
