wow!

Wow! Derek, that is going to be SOME bathroom!!!!
Larry and I are off to the Paddle Quest next weekend at the Mohican area of Ohio, north of Columbus. Actually we will be staying at Pleasant Hill Lake Park. Our daughter, Loren, works for Gander Mtn. and is supposed to be organizing the event. We are just the "labor"! LOL! Bring your kayak or canoe and come on down! You can get details on the Ohio informal thread or the Paddle Quest 2009 thread here on the forums. Loren is "Airbiscuit".

Thanks everyone for the best wishes on my speedy recovery. The knee is doing pretty good ,got some stitches out, the rest come out Monday hopefully. Back to work and really good news , disability insurance picked up from the get go , no waiting week as has been the past procedure , so I have my vacation intact and will not have to get creative to attend the rally.

Sorry to hear that you have had an accident. If I had known that you wanted safety equipment like that I would have been glad to have gotten it for you at cost.
We know that Shinim can tow so we don't want to hear any excuses about you cant make the rally.
We wish you a quick recovery.

Can you believe the people at the Campgound. They called an left a message and the next day called back to check to see if we were coming the end of July and to reserve our spot. We are all set. No official spot but she said we have most of the park anyway. Nice people. Looking forward to the end of July.

Yep those KC people are right on it.

Felix looks like IKE right now. New floor coming this weekend, although it may take a couple weekends to finish it, then the re-assembly.

After removing the interior items from the wheels back and replacing the plywood floor, we decided to lay a single piece on glueless vinyl flooring down, which also lead to repainting the interior. So when it's done, hopefully by July 3rd to make our reservations in Traverse City, it'll have new floor covering, new toilet, new power converter, new pex plumbing, new black tank tray, some new laminate, new interior paint, new hot water heater trim, new storage cubby (made this cuz I moved the old fuses/breakers city/battery switches) and a bunch of small things fixed or cleaned up. Have to put a lot of hours in this weekend as I am too busy next weekend to work on Felix.

Later - D

You and me both, started on this project in early April, along with building a cabinet for the house to hold our audio/video electronics to match two vertical bookcase we picked up at IKEA.

Tonight I was able to locate the new toilet and flange, cut the hole for it in the plywood floor, fit the black tank into position and cut a new hole in the black tank for the new fittings and shaped a piece of sintra (pvc sheet material) to fit what's left of the original back tank opening to seal it off. I'll epoxy the sintra and new flange fitting in place Saturday am and continue fitting the bathroom items like cutting another hole on the floor for the tub drain catch and another hole for the black tank vent.

I saw your working on Ike, hope all is going well with it.

D

Hey everyone! Hoping to attend again this year. Where I work isn't big on the help taking anydays off, so I will begin negotiations in earnest tomorrow. I have made it to every Metro-Detroit Rally so far, so I plan to be there and see you all again.

I'll buy Steve a whole flock of Skelemingos if he'll come to my place with his polishing equipment!

That would imply that IKE is all polished and pretty thereby leaving you and Rhonda with nothing to do......so you can come by and help polish too. Groovy!

Don't you just loooovvveeee when a plan comes together?

Project anyone? 1962 Tradewind $1,400

Just found this on Craigslist -- might be worth a look for someone -- price seems decent.
