Something else to do......

Hey all, anyone see the thread on Forums about lightening yellowed plastic?

It's done with a concoction of hydrogen peroxide, glycerin oil, oxy laundry booster and cornstarch. You paint the stuff on the plastic, then lay the piece in the sun for a few hours. I gave it a whirl on our lights a few weeks back and it works like a charm. It took me two coats and about four hours to turn the nasty yellow lights to a nice, opaque white.

I have an overabundance of the supplies left, so if anyone is interested in trying it out, I'll be happy to bring them to the rally. Just let me know.

I'll take the glycerin and peroxide if you have that left. I tried it in my trailer and need to do a few more coats. I am having trouble finding the right % peroxide and glycerin.

Dave & Rhonda,
Put us down for spaghetti & meatballs. We will keep up our strength for this one.
About 50 motorhomes will be staying over at Cabela's tomorrow night and then caravaning to Ohio. Got a good supply of Amaretta & Jack. ALRIGHT!

Question Cocktail Hour?

What are people doing for the cocktail hour?

I was trying to figure out myself and a little info on what you are going to do would help me decide if we needed to do a drink or some food?

I was thinking of "Buttery Nipple" shots or I found a drink that is supposed to taste like a "Hawaiian punch"!

So what are you doing?

happy hour

We usually don't drink the alcoholic beverages, let alone make something good. But we are thinking nacho cheese and nacho chips as an appetizer kind of thing as folks drift through on the happy hour/open house walk. Plus we can use the cheese sauce on Fri. with the hotdogs.
Getting jazzed! Can't wait to meet all of you!

I would like to do a 60's theme for our 60's Airstream. Now I just have to figure out what that entails......I'm thinking some sort of fruit-laced jello mold.

Renee

PS - I'm just kidding about the jello mold.

I think.

Thumbs up Getting excited

We are getting excited about the Rally!!

I had to go over to the farm and move the trailer because we are having some tree work done, and I did not want to take any chances. When I backed the truck to the trailer and attached the umbilical cord I had NO tongue jack power! HMMMMM ... WHAT NOW!?... Well I went and hooked the Batt up and every thing works fine! I guess I will have to take the electrical tool kit with us this weekend to Fort Custer and do some looking. Any how this will not keep us home!! We are SOOO ready for this Rally!

Hey Mike,
You're going to practically be in our backyard this weekend! Derek and I can't spend the weekend camping, but we'll come out for a bit to say "Hi".

Let us know when you're going to arrive (and if you'd like company for a few minutes) and we'll pop out to see ya!

Renee

I'm going to be placing my order for rockets for the kids. So I need a semi-accurate count!

The flying is always weather and site dependant, but we will always build.

Please let me or Rhonda know how many I can expect. Thanks
