The date for this rally is already up and running. Or did I miss something else??? You can sign up for KC Campground at Milan, MI and check the Rally Calendar for the list of attendees so far. We hope to see you this weekend...July 31-Aug. 2!

This rally will have a Firefighter/Paramedic attending. We don't do stiches,but are real good at calling 911.
Also Dave, is there a certain spot the mothership should park or is it everyone for themselves?
Grace and I will be arriving early friday. I,m getting in shape right now.

July 31 is Fri., Aug. 1 is Sat. so technically it is the first weekend of August!!! We have our reservations made, so hope everyone else shows up!!!! LOL!!

Just an update, I'm doing my best to still be attending! I told Dawn we could always tent camp, but the response she gave me probably shouldn't be repeated

Dave, thank you for your kind offer! That would truely be considered going "above and beyond". I can't expect you to invest 12 hours of driving just so I can get away for the weekend, but I do apreciate the offer. That is really a great Airstreaming spirit.

The sites are very deeep and mostly level, you will have no problem w/the Mother Ship.

The reason I asked about parking is I noticed some where talking about their site # and thought maybe you had assigned parking.
A little change in the menu for us. We will be bringing goulash instead of spahgetti.

We called up to KC and reserved a place and told them we were with the Airstreamers group. They sent back a confirmation letter with the site # posted on it. We will see you Fri. morning, but we are going out again and up to Cabelas; and Al and Shinim found a restaurant that we all want to check out. See you all after that!

I had to go over to the farm and move the trailer because we are having some tree work done, and I did not want to take any chances. When I backed the truck to the trailer and attached the umbilical cord I had NO tongue jack power! HMMMMM ... WHAT NOW!?... Well I went and hooked the Batt up and every thing works fine! I guess I will have to take the electrical tool kit with us this weekend to Fort Custer and do some looking. Any how this will not keep us home!! We are SOOO ready for this Rally!

I found the problem! In the dirt, on a beach towel, under the truck at Fort Custer I found 13.? volts in the charge line from the truck but only 5.? Volts at the actual plug! So I pulled off a whole roll of electrical tape from the PO's attempt at weather proofing the splice and found that the wire had severe corrosion at the butt connector and only 1 strand was left holding on. So with some strippers and a new butt connector and some heat shrink tubing the problem solved!

Before I had a chance to wash my hands we got visitors. Derek and Renee popped in to say Hi and welcome us to their turf. It was great meeting them and the little info we got on what to expect at the rally was a great help! Thank you for that!!

We are so exited for this weekend! The girls asked me this morning if today we got to see all the Shinny ones like ours? They are ready too.
