Yes, Lorrie and I are going.

For anyone that wants to see our 1955 22' Safari before the restoration starts, this Rally might be your best chance. We'll be pulling it out of cold storage after work on Friday night, so we won't be arriving until some time Saturday morning. But we do plan to spend our first night in it Saturday night. Hope it's not too cold as the original Panel Ray heater isn't hooked up.

So Ralph is it officialy annouced as the 1st weekend? What is the contact info for reservations. Somebody needs to set this date in stone. I haven't read all the pages in 1 sitting but it looks like the 1st weekend has the most votes. Let's do this.

So many reasons why,unfortunately.
Not WBCCI members.
Found out about this weekend just this past Tuesday from your post.
Felix is home but sitting empty of camping/living supplies (everything gets taken out and boxed up during winter storage.
Still have to remove the bathroom from Felix to replace flooring, hope to start this weekend, been waiting on this project because I am still working on building an entertainment cabinet for the house, minus hardware and stain it's pretty much done. The real trick now is to match the color of some stuff we picked-up at Ikea that will be part of this new cabinet.
With any luck we should be ready to camp by mid May.

Renee, you dont have to be members to go to the rally. Its a buddy rally.

Roger, she is talking about a WBCCI rally we are having this weekend. We were not talking about the Metro Det Rally. And we dont know what the date is yet.

Hey ya'll
I was looking on KC's site today and the Bluegrass fest is the weekend of the 13th. Mark (owner) told us this last year, which is why we have the first weekend as the option. I have tried to call him 3 times today but no answer. The camp ground is open and I will try again tomorrow and if no luck I will stop by and see him. All that being said I have moved my confidence level up to 99.99% for the first weekend in Aug. So sit tight I will have the definitive for ya'll very soon!

Watch out Roger you might be surprised if you attended!!

Laura says its a buddy rally and you have already rallied with most of everyone...forums rally...WBCCI rally...these Metro Detroiters are cross platformers and hardy to party.

You build it and they will come, no matter what you call it.

Good point Carol, we have a good time at the WBCCI rallies, sometimes those can be the best! Roger, maybe you should try coming to a WBCCI rally sometime, you might be surprised! Im not sure if you have gone to one down there, but our unit seems to make a party, even if there isnt one planned!
