Facebook

Hey Rhonda and Carol-I'm new to the whole facebook thing as well. I've been having fun with it for the past couple of weeks. Last night I found my half-sister. I haven't seen her for 21 years! We sent a couple of messages back and forth. How cool is that?

Yeah Jess... me too. Amazing. I had a half brother that I never knew about until my mother passed on. Somewhat eerie with the words now in hind sight that she spoke to me... and how do you know you don't have a brother locked up in the closet somewhere? Only child "misssyndrom!"

Must be my roots and how I developed so well adjusted!

Facebook Is very intriguing thus far!!!!

I'm more the MOM's and HYDE'S Restaurant type.
Sometimes simple is better.

Hi Mike, We would go to Montgomery Ribs for a special occasions every couple of years. On the other hand, we hit Gold Star and Skyline at least once or twice every trip we make south. If you have not been to the Hoffbrau Haus in Covington kentucky, you should give it a try. Ask to sit in the Beer Hall. Go when it's warm so you can sit in the outdoor Beer Garden while you wait for a table. Young woman in frilly dresses will deliver you pretzels and beer cheese and of course some big mugs of their dark beer. Cross the river on the blue metal bridge next to the coliseum (between the suspension and big yellow bridge) as soon as you cross the river into Covington, make a left and it is down a block or two on the right. We try to visit once a summer. Everybody should sing to the um-pa-pa in the Beer Hall every once in a while.
Roll out the barrel, bill

Jesus Christ! Snow again. anybody up to a caravan back to AZ. ASAP? blue noodles has a full tank of fuel, the tires have air, and we have six bottles of Italian wine (good stuff) ready to be emptied.
Carol, I see you on facebook as a friend, but don't know what to say. I leave that up to Ralph. What do you think Ralph, three posts in one week?
Carol, that Airstream pub crawl sounds like a good idea. I'll even be the designated driver with the blue noodles. I was working on the farm in the UP raising some of that beef you enjoyed while eating those hamburgers. Didn't have time to go out and eat. Always busier that a set of jumper cables at a mexican wedding.

Reason I asked about the Halo burgers is because Renee and I went to the Ikea store in Canton, MI on Saturday. I would have stopped for a Halo Burger if there was one close by. Turns out there isn't. So after Ikea, Whole Foods and REI Outfitters, we ended up at an Applebee's. Applebee's has a Quesadilla Burger that is pretty good.

I'm with Felix on this one. I was stationed in S.Dak for 3yrs. I went from there to Nam. What a change. I was also raised in the U.P. where you have 9 months of good sledding and 3 months of not so good sledding.
Hope to see everybody soon.
