Bill, You can have 3 amp service or buy the 30 amp for about $250.00. You can also sign up for the generator section too...The VAC section has 3 amp service...Dave I feel your pain...I Love the Halo Burgers too...

3 amp will run everything and keep your batteries charged except for no AC and they want your fridge running on propane. Otherwise, heat, fan, tv, lights you are good. You share the same line with others for the cost of the rally. If you use too much I guess the circuit line blows. If you pay the extra full electric fee you are parked in with others that have paid for full electric and can run your ac. If you have a generator you can be parked together with others that are using their generators. Dogs also have their own section but you can mainstream them if you would rather be with non-dog people too. I haven't spent for the AC yet and while it would be nice a few hot afternoons it sures saves a chunk of change to go without. People are usually outside of their Airstreams most of the time anyway.

It is fun! Find out where Ralph is and he will call you when coffee is ready in the morning! I think this year he will be delivering Halo burgers right to your AS door for a small nominal fee. There has been a lot of interst in that recently.

Halo Burger - wow!

I haven't had a Halo Burger in years! Maybe we need to move the Rally north a little bit and put on an expedition! D'ya s'pose they have corn there?

And re International: is there a 30 amp dog area and a 30 amp no dog area, etc? Same with generator section? Too many choices!

Yeah I need a dog, generator, VAC, kid area. Carol do they provide that? Or do I have to leave the kids and dogs at home?

You guys are funny! I don't know about the designer parking. Good questions though. Rhonda I think if you get on the outskirts in the vintage section you can pretty well get away with anything, but I don't know, I have always been 3amp doggie section. You get a giant letter for every distinction to put in your windshield to help the parkers park you I think you might look like Vanna with a lot of signs needing a vowel there, K D G V!!!

There was a 30 amp dog section, besides 30 amp non dog section, and 3 amp dog section, I don't know about the handicap dog section or presidents row dog section or the generator dog section but probably those pups get special dispensation.

30 amp dog is E and D

My thinking on this is if I elect to go directly to the dog section, we can be as obnoxious as we want. If you do not go to dog section you must sign a waiver that you can be asked to leave if somene makes a complaint. So I go where we are safe right off. Usually we have a place to walk the dogs too and they get to play together. Next to VAC people Dog people are also very nice and easy going.

I don't know where the kids go, I haven't seen them at international, state, or IBT rallies except for Airstream Life's Emma Luhr. There must be some, i just haven't seen them.

Well, I know people make complaints about me, but I don't have a dog at this point, so can I be asked to leave if they just complain about me? If I go to dog section without a dog, do I have to certify that I'm an SOB?

Maybe there's a non-dog, SOB, 3 amp, confused traveler, grumpy guy section there somewhere just for me!

Thanks Carol. You answered the questions I had about a three amp service. The breakdown of the sections was very nice too. I am new to all this and sure do appreciate your help.
