Hey Lou!
We are always available to go car shopping for you! LOL
Good luck with hunting a great TV. You are going to miss that Minuet and the mileage you could get towing that little thing!

I missed it while it was leaving.
I will not miss it when I am sleeping in my own bed without having a 3 year old's foot in my face.

I am actually looking for an early 90's deisel. I would prefer something with a GM badge on it but right now I am looking at Fords as well. Anything that could last me a season or two would be good. I am not even picky about what it looks like right about now. Something under $5,000 would be nice.
As for the trailer.... it's a surprise!

Oh Master of Argosy Creations will you be changing your signature to something that would mirror your new acquisition?

Thanks Dave. I would really prefer a GM. I also have a line on a Chevy full size passenger van.
The one thing I have to keep in mind is that the new trailer has a tongue weight of right around 600-700 pounds! YIKES!

Loooou,

My van does an awesome job. What year van? they were a little lighter a few years ago. Our van is rated at 7500 and 750. I think I am right there for sure, but it does a great job and I have been checking and getting between 14 and 16MPG pulling depending on the terrain and the wind which is not too bad.

I am looking at a 1996 Express. The miles are right around 90k. It looks like it could handle it but I would feel better if I could find myself an extended cab or four door pickup with a diesel in it.

Somehow I do not picture Lysa on a bike while hearing the song, "Born To Be Wild"!
