By the way it's good to hear that you finally have a real trailer.
I'm sure to hear response to a friendly jab like that.
On another note, I have one of those canvas bunks that Airstream offered in the seventies. Got any use for it Lou?

As mentioned earlier about taste in beer; you have excellent taste in beer but I see we have to work on refining your taste in trailers.

As for the bunk, bring it along! I just may have a use for it! Now that I have a, (AHEM), "real trailer".

Lou we can always tow you down there with the blue noodles. A little over length, but who cares.
We will be coming down Fri. in the PM. What time are you pulling out for this Ralph?
If I do not get something soon I just may need a tow!
Lord knows I do not want to jump on something that turns out to be a pile of junk just so I can tow it one or two times. That's for sure!

Lou, I bet with the gas prices you should be able to find a Tahoe or Expedition cheap. Check Cars.com, that's how I found mine.

Yeah, I'm bummed about Marv & Annie. I wanted to really see that Argosy. Well, actually I was hoping to trade private label wines and trade canoe and kayak stories! You two will be missed this year.

Two posts away from... oh wait...One post away from Triple Rivet Master!

Hey, it looks like our rally thread will see me get to 1,500 posts. Since I am so important, (at least in my mind), I am sure all of you would like to see the statistics of the content of my posts.

3% Good information concerning the restoration of Argosys.
5% Good information on where to get an axle replaced cheap.
2% Flaming/being flamed by other forums members because of the first 20% above.
2% Defending why I am not to blame for the flaming/being flamed.
3% Asking why it is so important to balance my "running gear".
5% Asking what is "running gear".
12.5% Asking why it is so important to name my trailer when Airstream had already done that for me.
2.5% Explaining why everyone was using my avatar after our first rally.
5% Answering the same question: "What does LPPI stand for?"
4% Making up new rules and by-laws for the LPPI.
4% Changing the new rules and by-laws to benefit me.
2% Asking if anyone had found beanies for the second LPPI Rally.
25% Trying to find out what Carol Baidinger was trying to say in her last post.
15% Trying appointing new LPPI VP's.
10% Trying to figure out what Carol Baidinger was trying to say in response to one of my posts.

There, now I can add this to my memoirs!

Well, it will have to be able to take the 750# tongue weight of the new trailer.
I think I will have to be looking in the 3/4 ton Suburban or truck range.
It would have to be cheap too. I mean REALLY cheap as I am gonna be close to tapped after I get the trailer. I have been scouring cars.com for three days now. I am trying to keep it under the $5,000 mark. That will be my high water mark.

Right after you come down here and help me clean. I'm not falling for that one. Next thing I'd be carrying out beers to you and boxes to the basement!

Almost royalty, it will be hard to shine up that crown knee deep in...I mean gee thanks Lou.

I figure we can run all the pcinic tables together and we should have plenty of room for everyone to sit. We can do it right out in the middle of the group area. Whaddaya think?
We have a 20'x10' free standing awning we can bring if its needed. - Terry

A sad day at the Patterson home....

Well, this morning I watched my Minuet pull off of my street and onto Van Dyke. Chances are I will never see that little trailer again.
I was sitting out in it the other evening and I thought, "Man, I know every square inch of this trailer." Literally, I do know every square inch of it. I have ripped everything out, rebuilt or replaced it, and then reinstalled everything.
This morning Candie looked at me and said, "Aw, you look like a little boy that just lost his favorite toy truck." Then I sorta got choked up. I REALLY DID FEEL LIKE SOMEONE TOOK AWAY MY FAVORITE TOY TRUCK!
I do know that a brighter day is around the corner! My newer 25' should be in the drive before the end of the month!
