Yes Buck, we are bored. The trailer is winterized and camping is over. We are just waiting for the day and time for that party so we can have something to do!

Winterized?

Anyone else winterized yet? I'm holding out - did you see the extended forecast for next weekend? Upper 50's to mid 60's and sunny. Nice!

That is, of course, taking into consideration the weathermen are correct.

We won't be home, but I will give you the combo to the garage door and remember to turn down the thermostat when you are done. A 800 sq. ft home isn't going to hold too many people. I'm game for having a party on my pontoon before I pull it out next week.
Grace will be out of action for a while after tomorrow. She is getting her knee operated on. (Torn muniscus)
We haven't winterized our MH yet. It only takes us about 15min. and we are done, so we try to wait till the last minute, besides, we use it during the winter. Heated holding tanks make it pretty convenient.

Ever see how many people can fit in an airstream? We can more than four times that many in your place!

Just kiddin' Buck. But here's a thought - looks like Airdale will be visiting us on February 23rd; how about a little get together at our house in AZO that weekend? Derek probably won't be around, as that's the "Guys weekend " of sledding. But I'll be happy to host a few of ya.

Me thinks me detects a funny odor ,Like this thing is dying or is dead. What happened? Nothing since Halloween . Come on People I'm sure we can talk about something. Im workin on Replacing batterys and repairing the PO's screw-ups. Like wiring the new fridge direct to the batteries instead of going back to the disbt panel. Repairing broken goucho frame that his daughters girlscout friends used as a trampline. Cleanin the barn(Airstream Hanger) so I can get her inside.
Now I need to hear someone else's adventures
Its so much fun.

Mike,

it will be a few months before it comes home, while the shell and interior are in awesome shape the PO had used it for storage and overloaded the front of it and bent the tongue a bit. So it will go to a vendor friend of mine via flat bed where we will get it towable before I bring it home. Rhonda (better half of Drag'nwagon) has posted a thread called 1956 28ft?? there are all the interior pictures there as well. Still really do not have idea on what we are going to do with it, but....I guess its the obsession!

U could be obsessed with a whole lot worst things. Looks like a worthwhile project to me. Dont know If I would have patience enuff to restore it. Id be ok what I got started in the right direction I guess. Where did U find it Dave?
And I just lookedup Lambertville ,my memory is fading. I use to come up that way,but my wife hates interstates so we come up US 127 now,it is shorter for us by 40 miles. Oh Dave I am originally from Howell and grewup(matter of opinion) not to far from Ralph (AIRBOSS)
Do hope we meet up this next yr.

Roger,

We found it near my home town of Almont, MI. I believe it is a worthwhile project and I can't wait to get it towable so I can get it home and really start the clean up. Lambertville is exit 1 on 23 in MI. We are the first exit north of Toledo. As for growing in Howell especially with the likes of Airboss you must be a hell of guy! Airboss is great guy and a friend of mine and my family, and he has gotten pretty good at doing axles too.
