Cool by me. How about I inquire about rates? You know, we had 23-24 sites around the circle, then there was room for a couple more down that back lane heading to the office, no hookups, but we could be inventive with extension cords. Also we could place those without AC down there, so that 30 amps across an extension cord won't burn up. They could get an extra cup of grog as compensation! Or maybe just enjoy the quiet.

I love Apple Creek too!
Maybe we should put a call into them and see if the group area is open that weekend, huh?
I can do that tomorrow morning, or even this evening, if need be.
I wonder where Commander31 is too?
We need some fresh blood to "initiate" this year!

I could call Mary Ann, if you'd like. Last years deal was about $2 off a site, as long as we had 20 rigs show up.

John,
Give her a call and let her know that we should have at least that many trailers/motorhomes/blue noodles!
See if we can get the shelter again too! Tell her we promise to clean up after ourselves and push in all the chairs!
Give me a call tomorrow and let me know what's up, bro!

Will do! I'll let you know what's going on. (Of course I don't even have a trailer right now, still at the axle guy!)

Oh Geez, I really blew this one.....
Gee guys...I did feel a strange tingling (or was that an insistent poking) in the back of my neck the last day or two.... I guess i now know why....
Sorry i mist the shakedown rally last weekend.....dammit too.... (I am guessing that i just didn't monitor the "2006" rally thread close enuff)Strangely enough, it WAS my weekend with the kids, and we had planned on taking out the AS to some neat little campground, and ended up trekking out to the Indian Creek Campground/Resort in Tecumseh for the weekend.
Actually, besides the little 6 mile overnight jaunt to the Yacht Club a couple wekeends ago, this was out first official road trip with the trailer. My buddy lives just a few short miles away, and he checked the place out for me, and by golly, through the back roads, it was only 57 miles from my door.
The kids and I had an awesome time....bonfire, s'mores, lots of fun setting up the trailer..... all in all, an awesome time was had by everyone.
I am really regretting missing you guys' shakedown cruise now, and i had better not tell my kids...they will be PIST !!! My daughter even asked about her new WBCCI badge with her name on it, and wondered when she was gonna be able to wear it..... She would be bummed if she knew there was a get together that same weekend!!
But as the weekends progress now, little by little I am getting more and more stuff lined out and functioning with the AS.... Dealing with hot water issues now.
Lou, or John, or Andy...one of youse guys keep my number and ring me up when something like this occurs again...k??? 734 771 7490
I guess it is my forgetful side coming out again...... Sometimes I think I would forget vital body parts if they weren't permanently attached!!
Pictures Guys??? Anyone got any Pix???
Scott

Scott, no worries, you didn't miss the Louappalooza, that was the WBCCI shakedown. You'll have plenty of warning for the rally we're planning, which at the moment is slated (but not totally set) for the second weekend in August. So keep a watch here on the forums every once in a while. We'll probably be announcing the location and details very shortly.

Yeah, just now. Sorry, yesterday turned into new furniture delivery and moving day.
Just got off the phone with Apple Creek. Mary Ann does not have the entire group area available for the weekend of the 10th. Somebody has 10 of the spots reserved. That's out of a total of 29, back there. So only 19 are available, and we'd have to share.
However - the weekend of the 3rd is open, and so it the 24th. I'd recommend NOT doing the 24th, as I'll be on my way north for a UP camping trip to Taq falls. Anyone have a problem with the 3rd? I could dig back through the posts to see if anyone did. But please let me know.

Hey Lou! I've been trying to teach the baby how to say your name but the best she can do is say Doo. We will keep working on it. We are also trying to teach her how to retrieve beverages in case your own children need a break. So much work to do before Aug.
John, if you have to move the rally for the first weekend just do it. It will be sticky for us but we will still come.

...And that is:
We're going to check into KC Camp for the second weekend. The rumor is that the first weekend is not optimal for everyone. I need you to chime in and say yeah or nay to changing, so we can find a campground for the second weekend. Ralph, Buck, the rest of you, what sayest thou?
