Teams of bumper cars...too cool! Where have I been all my life? Perhaps I will go on to become the world champion Grandma Moses of wicket.

Brad and I went to Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado for a month and the timing in fall was perfect. We've shored up our plans for end of December and January and he is flying to Fort Lauderdale for a visit with his brother and I am going to the panhandle for a forums rally. Hmmm... airport security and public transportation to the city vs streaming South and staying at a top rated state preserve with ocean front, dunes and pristine forest, let me choose.

Hope your surgery goes well. I am sure it will. Gosh with your new peepers there goes the soft filter that has been so flattering to those of us with these old mugs. Prepare yourself!

Hey Lou,
I think I heard that beer is served somewhere in Greenfield Village, but I don't think they would appreciate bowling in the Museum either. It would be a get together to remember if we tried it tho. We're up for most anything, drunken bumper cars sounds like fun. Let's figure out something. Louapalooza 2.5

Deep fried turkey at Xmas in July, I have never tasted it, I may have to do just that! We have a video of the Blue Angels --now that is precision. Too cool. Thanks for the tip.

Harold are you and LeAnne up to shenanigans too? Where's our illustrious leader? HEY LOOOUUUU!!!!! C'mon out, c'mon out where ever you are.

I bet you all thought I dropped off the face of the Earth!

Hi all!
I apologize profusely for such a long absence. I have been working 12-14 hours/day and nearly 7 days a week! The money will be great though!
It took me half an hour to read all of the new posts since I had posted last.
I am up for almost anything. The only problem is that I took a promotion that sent me to the afternoon shift. My weekday evenings are spent at the plant. This would encompass Monday through Friday evenings. I have no trouble getting weekend evenings off.
I would like to let Candie and I get out without the girls just once this year. We really have had no time since the rally to do anything. I did, however, use some of my OT pay to buy a used 1995 LeBaron Convertible. I am officially out of the Argosy restoration hobby! There are FAR fewer opinionated people on the car restoration forums!
Let's pick something and do it!

ARRGGHH! I just agreed to take an urgent trip to China for work. Between that and the holiday's I will probably only be home one weekend between now and 2007. Unless you guys are shooting for January, Lorrie and I will be out of the picture. When is this "slowing down" thing going to start for us?
