Just wanted ya'all to be the first to know that I attain the level of Rivet Master, with this, my 500th post! Can I now be elevated to a higher order in LPPI!

You're both right. Lorrie says I do spend too much time here, but yet we never seem to have enough time. I guess that's the difference between weeknights AFTER work (often here) and weekends (often elsewhere). Next year we are going to try to slow things down.

Anybody ever play wherlyball?? The one in Ann Arbor is the best. They even let you drink in there...Its a blast. Have played it many times...

Hi Carol!!! Its pl;ayed on the bumper cars like at the Carnavels.. You have a wicket and try to put the ball in the net.. Its wild,, 5 people on a team and u can have several teams!!

Carol, did you and Brad take a trip this fall?? If so, where did ya go?? All is fine with me. Go for eye surgery on Monday, (Cateract) Then other one will be done around Dec 18th

Teams of bumper cars...too cool! Where have I been all my life? Perhaps I will go on to become the world champion Grandma Moses of wicket.

Brad and I went to Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado for a month and the timing in fall was perfect. We've shored up our plans for end of December and January and he is flying to Fort Lauderdale for a visit with his brother and I am going to the panhandle for a forums rally. Hmmm... airport security and public transportation to the city vs streaming South and staying at a top rated state preserve with ocean front, dunes and pristine forest, let me choose.

Hope your surgery goes well. I am sure it will. Gosh with your new peepers there goes the soft filter that has been so flattering to those of us with these old mugs.

I think I heard that beer is served somewhere in Greenfield Village, but I don't think they would appreciate bowling in the Museum either. It would be a get together to remember if we tried it tho. Have been to the Panhandle Carol. its pretty neat...Go to navel air museum if you can. home of the Blue Angels.. I have gone to Gulf Shores Al, Right next to the Panhandle. Gawd I love it down there... Oh the eye surgery will be a breeze.. 30 mins and its done!!.. Hope you come to our X-Mas in July this yr kiddo.

Deep fried turkey at Xmas in July, I have never tasted it, I may have to do just that! We have a video of the Blue Angels --now that is precision. Too cool. Thanks for the tip.

U will never put a turkey in the oven again after trying a deep fried bird!!!! I will do 2 20 pounders just like last yr. if any metro detroiters want to come let me know as Im in touch with the campground now and that will give me a idea how many spots for them to hold.. date will be around July 25th ish.. So far i told them 15 -16 spots.. Carol,,, If we do the Wherlyball thing Im sure I will bring some of the Formula for us..Love it girl!!!!
