We're ready
We are ready to go! Let's do it again before the snow flies!!! We had fun and hope that we can sneak away again. How about the rest of you?? Anyone know of another campground that is not too far away from OH/MI/IN area?? AppleCreek WAS a nice place. How about it Lou??

I am game but I would probably have to cancel my trip down to see our friends in Kentucky.
First, we should see if there is enough interest in another rally this year. Last year had two at the fall rally. I could not even make it then. This year I am sure I can make it.
How many of us are up for it again?
Maybe we should email or PM those that do not frequent the thread....

I think there is a KOA right north of Ohio line in Mi exit 9 off 23. (Summerfield Rd)from the highway it looks pretty nice. Small lake etc..

I do have to thank Annie and Marvin for all they did for the rally!
I almost forgot!
Annie and Marvin supplied ALL of the brown tubs that were raffled off. They also supplied the BIG raffle prize; the stained glass duck! Who won that anyway? It sure was nice!
Also, Marvin gave me the rest of his Molson! Thanks Marvin!

Why not start a poll to see who would be interested in having a fall rally?
Also, keep in mind that the TCT rally is coming up REALLY soon! It will take place at Camp Dearborn the weekend of Sept. 15th. I am hoping to make that one too.

We would love to join a fall rally especially one so close to home. The KOA is about 8 miles from our house. There is also the Covered Wagon campground and The Vine in the area. I could check those out if you want. I don't know what your requirements are but I would be willing to do the legwork. Just let me know. The snag for us is Rebekah's 1st birthday party is Sept 9th so we will have to be home that day.

From the Monroe County phone book I have the Covered Wagon Camp Resort, Shady Creek RV Park and Camp ground and Vine Camp and Lodge(but it is an alcohol free campground). That is what I have with Camp in the name. I hope that jogs the memory for you.
