One last administrative Note

Apple creek informed me that they have four overflow sites that are adjacent to the group area, and they have 30 amp as well. In otherwords, we can get four more in right next to us. Give me a call at

586-337-1051

if you want to come to the rally!

Beanies

Hi everyone,
Bad news, the Beanies are a wash out. I was so excited that I got the order of colorful beanies but then I tried to put one on and it just sat resting on my noggin, they are childrens sizes!!!! With a deflated and saddened heart I will be sending them back tomarrow. They did not specify size on the web site(most of the hats were one size fits all) so today called them and found out that they do not have them in an adult version, so I am so sorry that I got some of your hopes up for a beanie. Next year Lou and I will plan ahead further and get that going if people are interested.
Sorry again. Beth

Well, I am the one that had to let the cat out of the bag! I apologize, Beth.

Raffle or auction?

Well, I was sitting here thinking, (I try not to do much of the thinking part), about what to do with the donations that we have coming.
Marvin and Annie are generously donating a stained glass duck and Al and Jean are donating some Canadian-themed items.
Now comes my dilemma; what do we do with it? Raffle? Auction?
I plan on doing something with the donations at the potluck.
Any suggestions?
Attached is a picture of the awesome duck Marvin and Annie is donating.

We had a tin foil hat making contest at a recent rally that was a hoot!

Sounds like you'all are going to have a great time - travel safely.

Thumbs up Ready, Willing and Able

2 adults + 2 Furkids
Andy + Claudia Neumann
Triton 2 year old German Shepherd
Amadeus 4 month old German Shepherd.

We will be bringing Bake Beans for the Saturday Potluck.
I have not seen anyone mention toppings for the Friday evening Hot Dogs,
So we will bring Ketchup and Mustard if you wish.

NO hot dogs needed for the dogs. They may think they do but trust me they do not.

As for the caravan from Macomb Mall.
I agree with LOU Detroit traffic can be a hassel, we will be going right through the whole city. I think a 9:00 am departure time would be good.

The trip should be around 84 miles, to the Campground.

I mentioned Drive in Movies, at this time I am not sure I can get the projector from work to conduct the "training class" .

If we can help out with anything else please let us know.

AWESOME!
I think we will have to try that, Janet.
Thanks for wishing us well. I wish there would be more Argosys there. Last year's rally was about 50/50. This year it looks like we will be outnumbered!

Andy,
I will check to see if my projector is back in my office. If it is I will borrow it for the weekend.
What were you planning on showing?
