Talking Air Show Rally next year

Since the two of us (Richard and Nancy) will be droping in late on Saturday evening, after dinner, just to chat, we will bring some finger dessert sort of thing - like Banana bread and cookies.

I am sure we can find something near Willow Run. Maybe down US-23? I know there are campgrounds down that way!

AAHHHEMMM To get a year ahead already - hehe looking forward to our AS purchase

I am sure others are familiar with campgrounds nearer Bellville, but with just a quick search I found one in Milan, close to Camping World, Cabelas, and the Air show

http://www.kccampgroundmilan.com/index.html

I know nothing about them but their website presents nicely

Hi all,

Looking forward to our first Metro-Detroit Rally...thanks to John's kind invite, you will have a couple California expatriate Hoosiers on your hands (we hope you won't hold that against us!).

There are two of us coming - Zach & Michele - plus Milo, our wonderful dog of indeterminate origin. Zach's work is a bit unpredictable, so we will get there sometime between 5pm-9pm on Friday. We'll bring Bambi Cake to the Saturday potluck, plus anything else that looks appetizing from our pantry.

A note: My husband Zach is allergic to chocolate, even the smell, so if he takes off in the midst of a conversation while there are lovely chocolate desserts being eaten, please know he's not intending to be rude.

See you there!
Michele & Zach

Final Rally Tally

Here's who we have right now:
That's 24. As of right now, if you sign up and aren't on the above list you'll have to park in rest of the campground. I will request 4 extra sites nearby. If you wish to come, please call myself at 586-337-1051 and we'll figure out where we can get you in.

Please, everyone have a safe drive and we'll see you there!

Arrival instructions.

I just got off the phone with Mary Ann at Apple creek. She says that we should pull directly into the group area instead of going to the office first, as that would cause you to have to turn around. Instead, pull into the group area and park. Harold and Leann will greet you and help you find a spot. THEN go to the office to arrange your camping fees with them.

Dave, Rhonda and baby Rebekah will be there on Friday. Maybe Hannah(8) and D.J. (6) on Sat. if they get back from Grandma's! Oh and one crazy dog Sophia and one cranky dog Jasmine. Can't wait! It sounds like it will be great weather. If there is anything missing for potluck let me know or else I will figure something out.

Well, I am sitting here now, on my lunch break, doing what I have NEVER done before.... Surfing the web....
With all the heat, our wonderful mills in the old 4-speed side of the plant keep going down.
I am glad to see the heat wave is going to break before the rally!

I am glad to see you could make it!
Trust me when I tell you that it will be a BLAST!
If your 8 and 6 year old make it, they will have plenty of company their own age. Plus I act like I am 8!

I was looking at KC Campground for last year's rally. I visited it and it is a really nice place.
Looks like we could sort of plan on a long weekend rally next year to allow us to see the air show and do our rally stuff.
