Hi, this is Candie.

Hi all:

I just noticed that Lou had left his PC on and this page is up.
I do not have a lot of time before he comes back so I am gonna make this quick.
He has mentioned that he would like to have as many of you come for his 40th birthday as possible. I have talked with Lou's mom who lives right across the street. She is more than willing to allow any of you to courtesy park on her large lot. It could quite possibly hold 10-15 trailers without a problem.
Lou said he was not going to mention it on the forums because he felt that all of you would think he is being egotistical. I told him that you guys already knew this!
Anyway, I know he would love to have you guys make it. It would be a real hoot for him if some of you could tow your trailers over and set up across the street at Lou's mom's. That would be the best birthday present he could get.
If you guys could make it Sat. Sept. 23rd that would be great.
He has not stopped talking about all of you and how he thinks every one of you is special to him.
I have to run and pray he does not look at his own posts!

Either I missed the explanation or this is a stupid question. What is the real purpose of the blue noodles?

No problem, Buck.
I hope your noodles do not wrinkle and dry out with all that sun.
Anyway, I had to put my wiener in my bun this evening and I started laughing out of the clear blue. Candie asked me what I was laughing at. All I did was hold up my wiener and show her it in my bun and she started cracking up too!

because I'm a cheap old bastard and windshield wipers for my motorhome cost $28.00 each, I cover them with blue noodles. LPPI members have run my blue noodles right into the sewer and I love every minute of it.

How in the WORLD would I miss this? I am so full of myself I sit here and reread all of my posts saying, "Yes Lou, you are the master of Argosy creations for over 24 years!".
Like, "Hey, I gotta tell you a secret." on national TV!
I am still flattered and I must thank my wife for being so thoughtful.

By the way Rhonda, pay attention at the next campfire gathering and you won't have to ask me about my blue noodles

The LPPI came together again this weekend
Just for the fun of camping (and drinking.)
To meet friends, new and old
And to relax in the sweltering heat

There were all different sorts of trailers we saw
From CCDs to painted argosys
And even a motorhome or two joined the bunch.

Oh that one 5th wheel in the corner.

We sat around a fire that burned all night with the illegal wood
Kept going by the pyro from mass.
Who didn't even bother breaking the bundles
Just threw them as fast as she could

Doing frozen Jell-O shots and admiring the full moon
That didn't come out till well after midnight (And about 20
beers.)
The spotlight shone from atop the Motor home and the air horn blew
while we all laughed and the blue noodles and what they could do.

There was a huge potluck attended by all
In the wonderful building with air (that didn’t work) and TV (that was broken)
But the most attractive part was that it was bug free (except for all the bugs that were there.)
With smoked chicken poked all night by Lou
And enough corn to feed a small (well, large) army.
Everyone made a wonderful dish to share
And NO ONE left hungry, not even the dogs.

And then it was over just as soon as it began
Everyone that came as strangers had left as friends
With memories to last long past next year next year when we all meet again
Whether it be in Climax or Hell or as far as Paradise
We expect that you all will be there,
just don't forget to bring the beer.

WE HAD A GREAT TIME. CAN'T WAIL TILL NEXT YEAR
SARAH
Awesome stuff, Sarah!
Thanks!
BTW, did anyone see the REAL moon this evening? Too ironic or what?

I need the plastic latches for the bumper storage on my 1977 Minuet. They are the same little latches used on the doors and almost everywhere else on the 1970's and 1980's trailers.
They should only be a buck or two, uh, Buck. If you need a pic of them I can take one tomorrow after I get home from work.
I also need some new WHITE noodles! I can make them blue myself!

Thanks, Noodle Man!

Everyone, congratulations on a 100% successful and fun rally! I just found the place but you showed up and were friendly and fun, and good cooks to boot. After having read a certain other thread about their problems at their rally, I'm doubly grateful for the way ours has turned out. We had a blast meeting everyone and touring your coaches and sharing stories and tips.

I will try to post pictures to Flickr tonite or tomorrow and get a link up quick like.

Talking Thanks

I just want to thank everyone that welcomed us to your rally and showed us around your trailes and answered a jillion questions. You were a wealth of information. We are looking forward to joining you next year in our own AS. P.S. My new Avatar is the shiny aluminum nose of the YAFs B-25 Yankee Warior. I took the picture Saturday at the Air Show. Ok this is odd - the formating does not seem to be working so I have this long run on sentence - sorry bout that

Sure - a new airstream - rear door would be nice - or something small they may have sitting around.. Can we put it on Lou's account.. I'll even take a scratch and ding special - oh wait that would make it an arogsy?

Have a good trip "home". Get the scoop on homecoming rally are they going to do it again???

Thanks - john
