...and don't even think about bringing along your horse, they'll charge another $5 a night for that... and it can't even use the pool.
I guess this is why they call it HELL

Was driving by Hell Creek today and the owner was out front. I stopped and asked about the electric accomadations. There is one 30amp circuit and one 20 amp circuit duplex per (2) camp sites.
Not to keep belaboring this topic, just wanted to pass on the info.
The stage looks interesting also, we might have to burn it down!?!

I would think it would be easy enough to unplug alternately (2 share 30 amp) to run the AC compressor until the Airstream cools down. It's not as if the compressor has to be running 24 hours to keep the unit comfortable, just a thought. Try to arrive with a cool trailer or pull in at different times.

Jean and I won't be able to make it that weekend. Other commitments. And I thought for sure Dave would find another interesting activity for me to try(like the Zip line).
You all have a great time.

Thanks for clarifying that. Personally, I have no problem with splitting the elec. I'm not even sure if we'll need the A/C. We do boondock in the middle of summer sometimes! I was just curious what the shared elec. meant since I've never seen or heard it referred to as such.

It would be great to see you all again! Can you bring along a barn animal for Hannah to take care of? Rob, should I bring the tie dye stuff for you?

The campground owner mentioned the stage on the phone. The weekend is pretty busy but I was wondering if there was time to squeeze in some more fun!

Noobs... Looking to get involved.
Hello! We bought our first Airstream in September ('64 Safari) and have met some of you at the August rally (with Grady and Jess) and at Camp Dearborn in the spring and fall. We are (almost) road-ready and itching to get involved. Still kinda new to the AF thing, so... Do we just jump in with both feet? Just looking for some guidance.
Thanks! Can't believe how much I have learned in 7 months. I can't believe how much more I have to learn.

Just jump right in. Follow this thread. You can contact the campground starting Apr. 1st. to make your reservation. We attended our first rally last spring in Ohio and had a ball. I think you've got one of the best AS, of course I'm a bit partial. Hope to see you at the rally.

Heck, road-worthy never stopped Jess and Grady!! JK Yes just jump in. That's what we did. We had the trailer for 2 weeks and I came across this forum and the Metro Detroit rally. They said sure there's a space for you! We've been hooked ever since! We didn't know a single person but everyone made us feel welcome. You are at the advantage (or disadvantage) since you have met many of us already. lol

I know we already enjoy the progressive cocktail party! Thanks for the compliment. We really love our trailer. It has been a lot of hard work, but with Jess and Grady's help, we avoided many of the pitfalls that others succumbed to during their first purchase. She wasn't perfect, but she was pretty good for being that age. She's comfy, she's (mostly) dry and I've learned some plumbing along the way.
Can't wait to see you all soon!

Just booked my site #24, went and checked it out and Buzz was sitting at site #22 waiting for August to come. He said "the early bird gets the worm on the bottom of the bottle."

I just tried to book a site and the campground owner said he was too busy trying to get the park open so he asked me to call back toward the end of the week. Kind of strange.
