Rivet Metro-Detroit 2010

We are planning the Metro-Detroit Forum Rally once again at KC Campground in Milan Michigan. The available dates will be either the last weekend in July (7/30 - 8/1) or the 3rd weekend in August (8/20 - 8/22).

We are inviting all that would like to attend this rally and we hope that it will be as much fun as it has been in the years past.

Rally details will be posted as they unfold in the months ahead, so post your vote for the date and lets get this thread started.

We'd like to be at Pocono too. Hopefully! So we will vote for the August date too. Thanks for putting this together, Dave.

August 20-22 sounds good to me. That may be the first weekend in the school year but we can work around that. Corn? Recipe? Blue noodles?

Wow your kids go back early!! Actually by then I am more than ready to get them back to school. Michigan has changed it so the kids don't start school until after Labor Day to encourage tourism. I hope it all works out so I can have some of those yummy appetizers again. Oh I am dreaming of the food and drinks already!

moon pies cannot be beat!! How many did you take home? I know my girls loved them. The tang on the other hand I think they would go without... No disrespect meant ... they just did not get it.

I have no idea if Aug 20-22 is clear for us, but in addition to Pocono, Jul 27- Aug 1 is also the WBCCI State of Michigan Rally which we might attend, so I'll vote for Aug 20-22, too.

Can anyone come?
Will there be happy hour?
Would people allow me to cook breakfast for them?

I could go on with the important, but stupid questions...

My family would love to join in...

This event is open to all even those with motorhomes with blue noodles.
Every hour is happy hour! Actually ours is a progressive cocktail party.
Frank I would be happy to turn over my keys to the kitchen house and you could cook breakfast for everybody!

Now it's my turn for a stupid question. Frank do you ever sleep?

We took home a LOT of moon pies! They didn't last too long in our house though.........Derek considers sugar as one of the main food groups, so he was thrilled.

The Tang is still hanging around, although I tried to kill it off by enjoying many fuzzy astronauts even after the Rally!

This may be a crazy thought but......

would anyone else besides me think it would be cool to hook up the Airstream on Saturday to drive an hour up to Woodward Dream Cruise?
