Based on the hierarchy of where this thread is located (forum rallies and meet-ups) I think this rally is not a WBCCI buddy rally. Perhaps one of the organizers can clarify.

I know there will be many people there with red numbers on their rig but I don't want to mislead the newcomer that this is a WBCCI rally if it isn't.

You are correct Jason. While Rhonda is an officer the next MD WBCCI rally is Ralph's Christmas in July. The August rally sponsored by Rhonda and Dave is a forums rally. Unless they change it which seems to be happening quite often with events recently. LOL! But there will be plenty of other WBCCI officers in attendance including Laura the 2 vp of the MD unit and other members. You'll see many of the same folks at all of the rallies even TCT rallies. It's a very active group of Airstreamers bound to make you welcome.

We pulled into the KOA in Herkimer NY this afternoon on our roundabout way home (I have to run to Syracuse for work tomorrow). The Bash was great and we will more to say about that when we get back (unless Rhonda stays up all night posting). Thank you Patrice and Argosymanfor signing up to hang out with us all and I think after the Bash we may have a few more coming...I need to see how many sites we can get in Tecumseh.

Yes, us Metro Detroiters sure do overlap in memberships. I guess we are all looking for a good time no matter where we can find it!!!

Ok, read half the threads, jumped to the last. All I heard was Blah, blah, blah, blah.
I am guessing I need to contact the campground to sign up for this rally. Link please. Do I need do anything else execpt to say We are comming?

All the necessary is on the Airsteam rally calendar page. When I have an idea of the schedule of events I will also add that as well so all pertinent information is easy to find.

I am sorry that I miss led people. I did not intend to. I don't care what you call it.... IT WAS A BLAST LAST YEAR. And I expect it to be again this year!... We are proof that you don't need to be a member of any thing to attend (last year we were not affiliated) we were welcomed with open arms by all and a good time was had. Again I am sorry to confuse Buddy rally with Forums rally while typing... Let's all just go and have a great time.

I can tell I am new not sure of all the lingo I just want to have fun I reserved my spot A 1 I think they said I am by the shower house.....

So Maybe I will bring the rubber duckies.....

Not sure what all the rally group conversation is just had my trailer stolen and recoverd

i WANT THE BIG RED NUMBERS always did

now I do so she can be spotted in the air is she is ever taken again.
I am looking forward to meeting all of you this is my first ever rally and I am sure we will all have a wonderful time.....

" Well there was some discussion WAY back in posts # 273-278 about this... And the short answer is "No",But "YES" Is accepted as well.

Personally I have only been "caught" at one Michigan state park and made to pour out half a case of cold beer

... Now where it is prohibited we keep it inside the trailer and pour it into a insulated mug. Which by the way

holds two beers

go figure... Less trips that way.

Hi Shawn, if you click on the Metro Detroit Rally on the rally page it brings you to the page to RSVP Airstream Forums - Metro-Detroit 2010 Rally Scroll down to the bottom and you can check yes, no or maybe and add a comment.

Thanks Ronda, reservations all taken care of. We are in full hook up site #7. We are comming in on Thurs. Aug. 19. Can't wait to see you all again.

I just got a message from Dave and MaryLou our new Canadian friends we met at the Bash, and they tell me that the CG is full! I bekieve that is 30 or 32 spots full!! I need to talk to her and see if we can squeeze in one or two more...we will see.

Rhonda, the kids and I are still in Herkimer NY, winding down from the Bash. Rhonda and the kids went to the Herkimer diamond mines today and did pretty well. I went to work in Syracuse and did not get back to the CG till after 7:00pm, it is strange going to work and returning home to the trailer.

We will get out of here in the am. and haul home 10 hours or so (traffic and orange barrels permitting).

Dave, be safe on the drive home!

On your way out, don't trust the GPS! Look at the mountains and head for the low spots. It helped ease our travels back to the highway.

Thanks Dan. I have one heck of climb out of Herkimer to Utica on 90, but the route to get here was worth it. I am glad that you Dawn and your adopted parents made it (I will be in trouble for that one)
