LOL Well then... Steph is alright. (Thank heavens she has a great sense of humor and a heart of gold!)

I e-mailed the sized graphics and waiting to hear from Steph if they are AOK, I mean, if they are alright.

So Miss Rivette what have you got up your sleeve for us?

Brad bought some copper pipe so we could duplicate the beautiful colors of the KC camp fire. We'll pick up a second pie iron and the fixings, some breakfast sandwiches for the morning and still need to figure a quick and easy potluck meal. me...I have to dig out warm clothes. I bought long underwear...I'll let the others wear the thongs.

And Airboss, you are wise to be scared of us girls! LOL

Snow????

Wow,

I guess we made a big mistake by booking a campsite for 4 days and signing up for the rally today.

As for thongs, I was hoping to wear mine with my shorts; it makes getting in and out of the trailer so much easier. Perhaps I should be digging the long johns out...

Hey Carol,

How about upgrading that fleece jacket to something with lots of goose down?

Jim

Yippie, we get to meet you and Verna! Cool deal! I can't wait to see your enhancements in the Airstream.

I do love goose down, trouble is... being vertically challenged, I tend to look much akin to the Michelin Man.

Hi Carol,

The only enhancements we have at the moment consist of cardboard boxes full of the stuff that we want to put into the cabinets that we ordered. I think you will be disappointed unless you like corrugated brown boxes. We have no idea when the cabinetry we ordered will be available.

As to that Michelin guy, I don't think you are unique. Personally I always preferred the Pillsbury Dough Boy as a personal reference.

Jim, who is looking forward to the weekend when we will get to ride the 17 roller coasters at Cedar Point amusement park here in Sandusky, Ohio.

Have fun at Cedar Point. I have never been there. You'll have to tell us all about it and show us pictures. Do you have your recliners in the Airstream?

And when you meet Brad I will get him to show you the picture of his Triumph motorcycle he had years ago, still in his wallet..and used to be across from a picture of me when I did NOT look like the Michelin Man.

The forecast for the rally weekend is highs in the mid-50's to low 60's.
Partly sunny saturday and sunday. Sandals and shorts weather!(and of course, thongs!)

So this is what Im thinking for Saturday. I think we will take the 10am ferry to the island, then while we are on the island, everyone can do their own thing, then meet for lunch at 12 and all eat together and then do your own thing again, and catch the 5pm ferry back, after we get back, we will have the pot luck around 630pm so you will need to have something that is quick, or premade. What does everyone think?

Just Passin' Through ...

I think I'll be stopping by - but only stopping by - with the DW and a couple of friends, as we head for the Canadian side of Lake Superior. Hope to see some of you on Friday sometime.

You guys are going all out with the clothes and such, the "and such" being a sort of genteel kind of reference to the thong 'thang I've been readin' about here. I'm not sure I'm old enough to be allowed to read these posts, much less be allowed to camp next to you guys!
