Is there any breading in the meatballs? Daughter is asking because she loves meatballs, but has an allergy to gluten. She just wants to know how many she can eat.

Don't count us out yet. I plan to check a few days before the rally to see if anything is available for that weekend. If so...count us in.

Steve, when I checked last night there were no sites left for both nights, but 189 was availabe one of the nights and another one nearby was available the other night. You might get lucky and get a cancellation somewhere. Also, there is a private campground next to this one (don't remember the name).
You could check and see if the Inn has rooms left. It is very nice and has an indoor pool.

Yes there usually is.... But we have not made them yet.... we will give a try without any, and see how they turn out.... Always willing to try.... I have an allergy to shell fish so I know the trouble with pot lucks!

I will post the out come on the Gluten less meatballs after this weekend. ( We are going to make them on Sunday) Who knows we may make two batches just for comparison...

Call the park direct. I dont think that all the spots are "reservable" on line. You may be able to get one reserved "locally" (at the park only) if the www shows "full" . I think that is this way @ Turkey Run. I have trouble keeping all the rules at the different parks straight.

We just got a huge gluten free cookbook and are having fun with that. There are lots of substitutes for wheat that can be used. Her allergy is not life threatening or anything like that. If she knows it is in there, she will just limit herself to one or 2. Too much just makes her tired. Now that we know this, she no longer needs naps every day. We are going to experiment this weekend with a test version of her birthday cake before we try to make it in the trailer. She wants a red velvet cake.

They look great. We are still scheduled to leave on weds after birthday girl gets out of her class. Somewhere in the last couple of days she has picked up a nasty cold virus. She missed work last night and school today so we are hoping to still leave on time and not bring too many germs with us. It's a rule that we never leave on a family trip with out someone getting sick.

Bummer Steve. There were still no sites when I looked yesterday and the nearest Walmart is about 20 miles away. At least you got to go to the Wilds. Too bad you'll miss seeing my latest embroidery logo. It's VERY cool!

Prize Preview

I am ready to fire up the embroidery machine and crank out a few t shirts. Have a few other prizes ready as well.
We went to Cabella's on saturday and Roger finally got his dutch oven. Now he is a kid with a new toy. Looks like we are going to copy the dutch oven rally. Can't wait for the weekend!

The entire trailer (including the AC) is leaning forward rolling after the turkey. It only appears to be backwards.
